Sweet aroma includes notes of toffee, caramel, and light spice. Average palate for the style, with lively carbonation. An above average beer, in my opinion. bigbobdog (36), USA

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 24, 2007 Pours a clear copper with a 2 finger head that dies quick. Smells crisp of nuts and spice with a little vanilla. Tastes as it smells with a touch of malt to balance out all the mild flavors. Medium to light in the mouth with tasty carbonation. Drinkability is great as this is a sessionable but not impressionable brew.

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Dec 10, 2007 Bottle. Pours burnt amber color with a thin and fast dissipateing white head. Aroma is of caramel, malts, and fall spices. Flavor is similar to aroma, but not as good. Palate is very watered down, light. Finish is very mild bitter, almost non-existant. Nothing bad, but just nothing good either.

| 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Dec 6, 2007 Color is amber with a thin and quickly vanishing off white head. Aroma is very light, some caramel, maybe nutty malts, and a little bit of spice. Palate: very easy to drink but maybe a little to watery and carbonated. Flavor is very similar to the aroma, malt and light spice, nothing that leaves much of an impression. Overall this is not a very complex beer. However, is is very easy drinking and pretty cheap, so I’ll probably end up getting it again.
