Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

Medium-bodied an d very drinkable, with light notes that give way to caramel malt and baked biscuits, hints of brown sugar, smooth and lightly hopped. Not a blockbuster but easy-drinking, great for football and pulled pork in the early fall.

(bottle) Pours clear copper with a white head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is very dry, with scents of dust, nuts, and an underlying scent of caramel which begins to smell like a turtle sundae as it warms up. Taste is light, but inoffensive, with some sweet caramel malt, that’s backed up with a dry, lightly toasted biscuit finish. This finish carries on for quite some time. A faint glimmer of cherry spikes up before the finish as well. Mouthfeel is medium, with fairly light carbonation, and it is really smooth. Not a bad beer, and it contains all the elements common to the style.

Deep copper body with amber hues. Soft ecru head, a tad thin. Sweet caramel malt backbone with sugar cookie notes and hints of peach and nectarine. Grassy hop component with light resin character and orange citrus. Great autumn session brew - will be picking up a case for football saturday.

Bottle from a bottle shop in Vacaville, CA. Smelled of caramel and malt. Went down smooth and easy, but nothing really makes this beer stand out. Usually one of my favorite styles I was looking forward to a great beer and all I got was average.

Not a bad october. Good malty flavors decent hop undertones. Only negative is how heavy this brew is. It really fills you up.

Was served it from draft. It is one of the better amber beers that I have had recently, but is definitely one of Victory’s better beers that I have had (I hated their Hop Devil).

This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a small sized head of foamy finely sized off-white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a transparent strong bubbly carbonation copper brown colored body. The weak aroma was malty and dirty sock. The crisp mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish. The flavor contained notes of mild hops metallic and mild brown malt. A decent one that I would consider buying again.

12 oz bottle. Pours orangey-copper in colour, with nice big caramel coloured head. Aroma is mild sweet malt. Taste is again sweet, hints of maple syrup, and even a hint of pumpkin?? Nice, and it’s almost Octoberfest!
