Festbeer with a spicy hoppiness to it, a toasted flavor that reminds one of traditional Oktoberfest flavors.

Bottle from Hackomal over on the other site. Thanks! Pours bright golden amber with a thin head. The aroma is sweet and toasty with hints of earthy hops. Caramel, toast with a earthy grass/peppery finish. Pretty true to style IMO.

Poured into a regular pint glass this beer produced a amber hue with a short lasting 1 finger white head. The aroma smells like like malts and perhaps sugar/something sweet. The carbonation is light but the taste is not great. I felt like this beer really goes outside of the regular Marzen characterization. Unfortunately this is not a repeat for me.

Poured amber with a white head. Aroma of sweet malt and candy. Sweet caramel malt with some bitterness. Hint of fruit.

Bottle courtesy of GMCC2181 – thanks G! Pours a slightly hazy amber with a half finger off-white head. The nose is caramel and brown sugar. The taste is more caramel, toasted malt and light grassy hops in the finish. Light-to-medium bodied. Decent Marzen – thanks G-Unit.

Enjoyed from a 12oz bottle. Appearance was typical of an Oktoberfest style - brown in hue. The flavor was somewhat of a change from past examples, not necessarily bad, but bordering on being outside of the style. Overall, not the best offering from an excellent brewery.

Bottle. Light red in color, decent head. Nose is caramal, light malts. Taste is sweet, caramel, maybe some light fruits. Light in texture, easy to drink. Overall nothing outstanding, nothing bad eithier, just a decent beer.

12oz from the PP CBad BS. for those not in the know that is the Pizza Port Carlsbad Bottle Shop. Pours reddish orange with a tan head. Nose is sweet and malty. Taste is sweet, with a touch of caramel and malt. Overall not bad for the style not great in my opinion.
