Commercial Description:
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

amber color. Smell of malt, hops, graham crackers/ pie crust, minor caramel and pepper. Taste of roasted malt, caramel, pie crust, minor clove & cinnamon and light caramel. Has a vegetable/dirt aftertaste.

12 oz bottle. Poured a clear medium orange color. Head was three fingers high and off white with good retention. Not much lace was left behind at the end. Subdued aroma overall with whiffs of husky grain and spicy hops. Slightly sweet on the tongue. Flavor was malt dominated. Mostly cereal grain. There was also a nutty note and dried fruit.

12oz - BB 2/24/08 Nice caramel colored liquid under no real head. Bock like wood notes on nose. Light wood and mild sweetness on the palate. Not their best.

Bottle, Pours out a orangish copper color, with light head, quickly dissapering. Incredibly smooth, maybe too smooth, like a wated down macrobrewery. Just another beer.

Beautiful clear brownish-golden, with a medium off-white head. Aroma is mainly malty with spice hints, mainly cloves. Flavor is rich, malty, spicy (again cloves), with some hop bitterness. Zingy, tingly, the hop component dances on the tongue. Prosit!

Poured orangish copper color with little head that faded to nothing. Had a light malt aroma with average oktoberfest taste. I can’t get onboard with these oktoberfest beers. They all taste to similar and watered down. This version is no different and is quite tasteless. NOT IMPRESSED

Bottled (thanks drewbeerme!). Amber colour, beige small head. Aroma is malts, hops, some yeast and vegetables. Flavour is malts, hops, some vegetables and a bit earthyness. Clean for it’s style, but otherwise not so exciting.

Bottled (BB 01/2008)
Clear amber color, small off-white head. Bready, hoppy, light aroma. A bit sweetish, some late bitterness. Nicely balanced, good sweetish malty profile. I like it, stylish.
