Has a heavy syrup texture, with hints of spice and light citrus fruits. Finished with a light hoppy taste. Reminded me of apple juice. jwdevalue (158), Neptune, New Jersey, USA

Poured great and had a nice finish. Would do again. adam7679 (6), Ringgold, Georgia, USA does not count | 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Sep 27, 2007 I was very excited to try this. I like most Victory beers. I was very disappointed in this one. The beer is very light almost effervescent and drinkable almost like a red ale with a bit of spices added. It is not as heavy or flavorful as I would expect in an Oktoberfest. BigBeer45 (686), Troy, Michigan, USA

Pours a clear amber with some bronze-brown, an off-white head,
aroma of malt, toasted malt and some malt sweetness in the background,
same taste as aroma, the sweetness subsides quickly with some hop bitterness,
easy to drink just not as flavorful as some other Octoberfest beers,
more of a middle of the road Octoberfest. CharlesDarwin (1834), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA

Clear middle amber orange, soaped rim of beige. Flavor is a minimalist approach the already plain Oktoberfest. Here even the Munich malt plays quietly in the corner. Water is forefront. Light sugars, malt cream, and lightly wheaty fruits bounce around an empty room. No chewiness, no depth, no crisp hop balance. Nothing to get excited about. Backs out the door with honey and herbs. Clean...blah, blah, blah...boring. drewbeerme (2272), Chicago, Illinois, USA
