Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

This is a fantastic Oktoberfest. Smooth with a little bit of body and it goes down great. Sweet caramel and balanced hop tones make the finish great just like the rest of the beer.

Dark amber color with a nice fizziness. Flavor is full of malt and caramel. Definitely my favorite so far in this style.

Sampled on 12/8/2008. The marzen pours a medium amber color from a 12oz bottle. Small to medium sized white foamy head. The aroma is caramel, fruity and sweet. A medium bodied marzen. The malts are fruity, caramel and sweet. The hops are earthy and slightly spicy. Lively carbonation. Kind of a nice marzen, it is spicy and malty without being too sweet. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is slightly bitter.

Pours a sparkling clear, orangey-amber color with an average, pillowy, off-white which settles to a very small froth and leaves no lace. Nose is simple with rich caramel and light toasted grain notes. Flavor is a bit better with toasted grains, biscuits, rich caramel, and a balance of noble hops, a tinge of spice. Palate is light to medium, lively, and crisp, solid for an Ofest. Finishes somewhat quickly, sweet with caramel but balanced by a faintly spicy noble hop presence. A very drinkable Ofest with no real great qualities but solid example of the "fest."

Poured from a 12 oz bottle this beer pours a nice orangish color with a nice white head that linger for a bit and left some nice lacing. Aroma presented some nice caramel malt, fruit and spices. Taste followed through with malts, caramel and a little toasted bread as well. A nice fall beer by Victory.

12 oz bottle from the singles rack at Binny’s (Orland Park, IL). Poured a dark hazed carmel color, small off white head. Malty nose with slight spice. Tate is similar, bready and biscuity w/ carmelized malt notes. Slight spice in the finish, light bodied, maybe even thin, but very sessionable. Cheers!

Courtesy of Sea Bass. Pours clear copper with gold edges and thin off white head. The aroma is sweet lager type malts, rich Munich grainy malts, moderate roasted malts and corn. The taste is rich maltiness with Munich malts, caramel, caraMunich, biscuit and some nuttiness. Wow, great malty brew.
