I think this was on e of the first Victory beers I ever drank. Just never got around to officially rating Festbier. Amber US style O-Fest caramel malts, earthy with medium body. Enjoyable, middle of the road and higher alcohol than I anticipated.

Pours a nice amber color with a off white head. Very malty smell. A little hint of caramel and hops. As toasted. It is a very good tasting oktober fest beer. Not a big fan of the styl but when its done right you can’t help but drink it. Top 5 so far. A nice malty flavor, just the right amount of hops too.
3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Beaver (873) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - SEP 25, 2008
12 oz bottle. Pours a clear copper with a fizzy white head that quickly diminishes to a thin film that leaves some lacing.
The aroma is toasted biscuit malts, carmel, and some grassy slightly minty hops.
The flavor is slightly sweet toasted biscuit malts with a dry, slightly bitter (minty), finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, not a bad Oktoberfest. I’m finding I don’t much care for the style. I don’t like the toasted biscuit flavors.

12 oz bottle. Pours a clear amber copper with a one finger off white head and no lacing. Classic malty bready marzen nose and taste with a weel balanced bitter and dry finish. Med body, lively carb, wet texture, and dry feel. Very flavorful and true to style Marzen witch I will visit again in the years to come.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 nearbeer (2572) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - SEP 25, 2008
12 oz, bb Jan 18, 09. Clear orange-copper with a small ring of bubbles that doesn’t leave much lacing behind. Earthy grain and spicy caramel corn aroma has a sourish tinge to it. Flavor is rough grain, corn husks, caramel, tart apple with hints of orange, cocoa and toasted walnut. Light-medium body is mostly smooth, and slightly dry.

Pours a copper/ amber color, with little head. The aroma is of malt, and lightly of hops. the flavor is malty, hops, and a caramel flavor too. This beer is not the best from victory in my opinion.
