Picked up a single 12-oz bottle at Cellar’s Wine & Spirits in St Paul, Minnesota. Pours a clear light copper amber brew with a fast dissolving off-white head that leaves behind an average white ring. Aroma of powdered caramel malt, a touch of cardboard, and some corn grits. Taste is light to medium bodied, some carbonation and flavors of old cellar caramel malt and some grassy hops. Finish is slightly watery, with a thin powdered malt aftertaste.

Pours clear amber with a short head. Pleasant lager aroma; sweet caramel, straw, and corn. Taste is watery and flat for the style. Bread dough, metal, graham cracker, and corn. Wanted more and didn’t get it.

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2010 This is a very nice looking pour: clear copper with a two finger off white head.
The flavor has some maltiness, some sweetness, and finishes smoothly.

Bottle. Poured a clear golden-amber color with a moderate beige head that diminished to a layer. Light aroma of caramel, biscuit, spice, and a light hoppiness. Smooth, lightly sweet entry with some undertones of caramel, honey, bready dough, finishing with a light floral hoppiness that balances it out nicely. Light carbonation, and very smooth and easy drinking. Nice, simple beer that could be a nice session beer. Sehr gut.

A nice and smooth brew. It has a little bit of a sour after taste but it’s nothing overpowering or just unpleasant. It has a very nice dark golden color to it and has a very mild hint of hops Overall it’s a great quality beer.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a mostly clear reddish gold with a thin off-white head that faded to a ring after the first sip and left a few spots of lace. Mild aroma of malt with a stronger doughy component. The flavor is very similar with mild malt along with a stronger doughy flavor and some very light honey sweetness as well. Initially, the beer is a bit over-carbonated, but that settles down after the first few sips. Very easy to drink.
