Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

[on tap at Local 50, PHI airport] Delicate bread crust and brown sugar aroma with very subtle noble hops spiciness. Clear orange-amber under a white collar of fine bubbles. Toasty bread crust malt flavour that begins sweet and finishes dry, with some faint nutty notes and a moderate to medium hops biggerness. Medium-light body, crisp, medium carbonation.

Pours clear brown and red tinged amber with a fat white that is nice and foamy. Visibly carbonated . No lacing and head fades to nothing. Aroma is pungent grassy noble hops and bready malts. Taste is very hop forward with far less caramel malt flavor than most oktoberfest beers. Still a nice malt backbone - but more bready than sweet. Applause for a different take on the style.

bottle @ Chief Market / Lima OH --- Clear dark amber with an ivory rim head, dots of lace. Taste is woody malt that stays semi-sweet through a medium finish. Average in all respects.

Amber in color. Smells a bit of pickles and citrus. Tastes caramel and has a creamy mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Aroma: Smelling of bread, apple, lemon and nuts.
Appearance: A clear chestnut colored beer. A low off-white head with no lacing and small curtains.
Taste: Tasting bread, orange, apples and lingonberry.
Palate: Low carbonation, a watery texture. A small body with a slightly dry finish.
Overall: Loads of fruity nuances. Small body.
Note: Bottle 355 ml at home. Reviewed 2014-09-28.

Drickbar men ganska konstig smakbild. Gissar att den sett sina bästa dagar eller tt den här batchen inte var bra. Bryggeriet brukar vara betydligt bättre.

355 ml bottle @ Naamat.
Pours amber color with a small head. Some berries and malts on the nose. Malts, berries, toffee and faint earthy notes on the flavor. Some really weird notes here, don’t like it.

12 oz bottle, best by 18 Jan 2015. Pours coppery amber with an off-white fizzy head. Toasty sweet maltiness, honey, with a mineral impression. Toasted malt with a nice edge and honey flavor as well, sweet. A good entry in the style.

Bottle. Pours an amber color with white head. Crisp, malty, bready aromas. Toasty, malty, caramel flavors. Solid oktoberfest.

A fine example. Poured a nice rust colour with almost no head. Pleasantly malty in the mouth. A six pack would be just fine.
