COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

Poured from a bottle. Slight malty aroma. Orange-copper color. 1/4" white head that quickly dissipates, little lacing. Moderate carbonation with medium body & mouthfeel. Malty flavor with some carapmel & a hint of breadiness. I enjoyed this beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

This beer has a decent malty color with a slightly reddish orange color to it. The head was a nice white but minimal head that quickly disappeared. The smell is a nice malty smell with a good maltiness and a mild nuttiness to it. The taste starts of with a great malty, nutty flavor but it quickly fades away to nothing, which was disappointing. The mouthfeel was a lingering malt and nuttiness but was minimal at best although it tasted better after I belched. Overall, a decent marzen style beer but my only concern was drinking an october beer in july. I wouldn’t search this beer out but wouldn’t shun it if it was available either.

Poured a copper amber with hues of gold as it’s shows off it’s exceptional clarity. Almost tan colored head of foam that fell to a nice ring and a film on top. Carbonation can be seen streaming up.

Nose is terrific. It is doughy malt, yeasty bread and herbal hops. Perfectly simple. The hops are earthy and give a nice perfume. The malt has a bit of sweetness to it. This beer is decoction brewed.

Taste is firm and and medium bodied with a bit of slickness to the mouthfeel. It’s crisp and it has nutty toasted grain. Lightly sweet bread and herbal earthy hops. Finishes semi dry and with plenty of malt flavor to linger in the aftertaste.

Victory has the habit of making clean and crisp brews that are sharp, meaning distinct and clear. That’s what this beer was. Clean, subtly sweet and earthy. It has abundant flavor and a palate that is ready for anything from burgers to pasta primavera.

Draft to taster. Looks good for the style; a transparent deep gold with white lacing. Smells of malt and lager yeast. Tastes like it smells with a nice, smooth mouthfeel. A decent example of the style.
