Commercial Description:
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

Very decent marzen beer. Highly drinkable and deeply malted. This not a hopped up dark lager, rather more of a malted smooth drinker. Not too sweet.

on tap-pours a thin white head with copper color and effervescence. Aroma is faint sweet malt. Taste is sweet malt, hops with some bite. Slightly flat aftertaste. OK carbonation.

A nice bodied copper color beer, this one was enjoyable for the summertime. Lacing was very nice and the aroma hard to pick up. Flavor was definitely dominated by the malts (caramel) with some hop action going on in the background. Refreshing beer with a decent body, but my bottle experience was noticeably not as good as the draft, which just had a fresher and crisper taste to it.

12 oz bottle thanks to pineypower. Poured golden amber with a smallish head that faded to nothing. Aromas were very faint. Some maltiness but not much. Flavors were better with all that classic oktoberfest malts coming through. Hops were faint and left me with malt in the aftertaste after the hop bite faded. Not my favorite. Takes a lot to impress me in this style

light copper color with tiny off white head. Aroma has fair amount of lightly kilned malts (munich), slightly estery, fair amount of caramel and touch of raisens. Favor is malty, slightly chewy, obvious caramel. Finish is rather dry with a faint metallic hint.

Bottle sampled with Stegosaurus. Pours amber with a goodoff-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus and sweet malts. Flavor is bitter upfront, citrusy, sweet, malty, with a smooth finish.

Pours amber with a one finget thick off-white head. Aroma of caramel, citrus and sweet malts. Flavor is bitter upfront, citrusy, sweet, malty, with a mellow finish. Decent body, not a bad brew, but easily forgetable.

Amber body with a small, off-white head. The aroma is grass and caramel, flavor is similar with a bit of nuttiness. Finish is semi-sweet. Mouthfeel is soft and smooth.
