| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 23, 2006 Strong yeast profile...bready and sour...but also some fairly sweet caramel malt going on too. A bit thin in texture and a little watered-down in mouthfeel, but OK. frankenkitty (1900), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Jan 20, 2006 This pours more orange than copper with a tiny head that dissipates quickly. Aroma is lagered with spices, milky notes and a hint of honey. Flavor starts sugary sweet & sour then moves to bitter & spicy, running a full gamut of flavors. OK for the style, but a little souring to the stomach.

| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 17, 2006 On tap at Brewery. A fine octoberfest...even in January. Darker amber color. Not the best beer, but a good session. blankboy (3198), Toronto, Ontario, Canada
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 17, 2006 Bottle. Pours a clear bubbly amber with an average size off-white head. Sweet aroma and flavour of grain, some fruit, malt and mild, slightly stale hops. Light bodied and bland. Tastes like a Lager and for a Victory beer it’s quite dissapointing. Just O.K. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 16, 2006 My first thought was "Oooh...this is pretty." Looked like iced tea and had a very weak aroma. For mouthfeel, again ice tea. I was hopeful when it was sour on the tip of my tongue, but overall it was bland. RedHaze (370), Where the hell am I?, Nebraska, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jan 16, 2006 Pours a clear orangey bronze color with tin 1/4 inch head that quickly disappears. The very thin ring that’s left behind leaves only minimal lacing.
Smell; nice bread dough and caramel maltiness with a mild herbal almost spicy aroma. Nice, but not as good as I was expecting.
Taste; pretty much follows it’s aroma. It has a solid caramel malt presence, and a little bit of the spiciness makes an appearance. There’s also a slight hop bite in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, with fairly low carbonation. This is not the best O-fest by any means, but it’s still a decent stab at the style.

| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 11, 2006 A pretty average okt-fest. Pours a muted red. Kind of tastes a bit oily ,but feels like water? Immy (1912), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jan 4, 2006 12 oz bottle, best before date Dec 12. As it is Jan 4th, this is past it’s date, but not by much. Pours a orange color with decent off white head. No lacing. Nose is of fresh bread, a tad yeasty. Flavor is malty, with a bit of the yeast shown in the nose. Some caramel sweetness. Slightly sticky finish, with a wisp of bitter left behind. A pretty decent lager, but a fest it is not. Nice for a session or while watching a game.
