mildly sweet with caramel notes in aroma and flavor. Orange body, no head which was kind of a let down.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Orange clear pour with very small amount of head. Spicy aroma. Pretty decent spicy flavor. Pretty good, nothing special.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Clear copper with a short head and not much lacing. Doesn’t seem very carbonated, but it was giving me a gassy full feeling. Toasty toffee, moderately sweet, very short hop presence. Tastes like Fall.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Somewhat boring aroma to this. Theres a bit of malt to it, but thing that stands above the crowd. The appearance is a nice reddish copper color and a thin head to it. The flavor isnt too special also. Rather dissapointing for the trusty folks at Victory, but still not a horrible brew.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear orange color with a large off-white head that dissipated quickly. Spicy nutmeg, corriander, yeast and malt aroma. Corriander, nutmeg, bread, malt and floral hops flavors. Fairly thin watery feel with a lightly dry finish.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear amber color with a large off-white head that quickly dissipated. The aroma was full of spices (nutmeg?) and yeasty/bready tones...with a slightly sour character in the background. The flavor was nice and sweet...spices (again, nutmeg), yeast/bread, and a floral character. The feel was slightly watery/thin, with a medium dry finish.

4.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: NOV 18, 2004 Working my way through 12 different Octoberfest’s, this is easily the best one so far. Medium aroma, but great amber color. Smooth flavor with a nice pepper finish, but no overbearing aftertaste. Highly recommended if you can get it in your area.

2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
This is the second oktoberfest Ive had in a row and my thoughts havent changed much. This beer has very subtle spices with high carbonation. I love the victory brewery, but this is definitely not one of the highlights. The style of this beer is just very flat with nothing setting it apart. Very uncharacteristic of victory. I have the highest of expectations for this brewery and I would recommend trying their other styles far before coming to this one.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours light orange with a white head that dissipated quickly leaving no lacing. Malty oktoberfest aroma. Taste is rather thin with very subtle fruit undertones. Smooth and very drinkable, but lacking in depth or character.
