3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is one of the good festbiers. Nice sweet caramel malt gives it enough flavor to be worth drinking. It's a liquid caramel clear body with a decent head that is a bit fizzy. Easy drinking and another example that Victory is one of the better microbreweries when it comes to lagers.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice amber color, no head, not even any little bubbles looked flat. Aroma is weak, slightly malty maybe a little ripe fruit, kinda bananaish. Flavor is sort of malty with a bit of a nutty finish. Had this draft at Victory in the sampler. One of the weakest in the show.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear copper/amber color. Aroma slighlty sweet but not very strong. Tasted very sweet. Not a lot of hops present. Kinda reminded me of banana bubble-gum. Very very smooth going down. Pretty good.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours a clear copper with a thin white head. Sweet caramel malt aroma with some earthy graininess. Body is thin, semi-sweet, musty and dry. Could use a touch more hops and some more defined maltiness.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
UPDATED: SEP 8, 2004 Draught @ Victory: This one pours a bit of a coppery color, with only a little head. Some lacing down the glass. A fairly decent malt nose. A trace of hops. The taste is pretty much along the same lines. There is a bit of a smokey, dry taste to it also. A very smooth, easy drinking beer. Good for session drinking.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Thanks Pabobcat for the brew. Copper hue with a frothy tan head and good lace. Aroma is malty with hints of caramel, nuts, dark bread, slighty piney hops, earthy yeast and minor spice. Smooth and balanced taste with a of toasted malt and aromatic hop tone. Some fruitiness and spice also detected. Thin to medium-bodied with a soft mouthfeel. A good fest beer but nothing outstanding.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A very enjoyable beer - nothing exceptional but well balanced and smooth. Flavor is dominated by malt - with hints of toasted caramel. A slight hop follow, but not much bitterness to speak of.

This big V beer was sent to me by jgb9348, Thanks Brow!
Magnificent, A majestic sunset of beauty…. Amber in color with a colossal pillow of tan head, a masterpiece! The aroma is sweet and malty, smells of warm apple butter on toast. The flavor is slightly nutty, quit fruity, apples and pears, hints toffee, some herbal notes as well, very full in flavor and aroma. This is a terrific Octoberfest, light on the palate but absolutely terrific.
Thank You Jeremy!

Not Victory's best, but incredibly smooth. Amber-colored, offwhite head. Not much initial flavor but a nice malty/bready flavor on the end. Like I said, not Victory's best by a long shot, but It is pretty enjoyable.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Slightly red-tinged amber, big white head that diminishes fairly quickly, and leaves very little lacing. Aroma is very light, some maltiness but not much else. Flavor is also fairly light, some caramel and other malt sweetness, and maybe a minimal hop hit at the end. Body is medium at best, mild carbonation, drinks easily, but is noting spectacular.
