COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

A: light tan/ amber, slight foamy off white head with good retention reduces to a light lacing ring S: sweet and slightlt bready. T: more well balanced than the nose would suggest. Caramel and vienna malt provide the backbone, slight grass, and flower M&d: medium to full bodied, decent amount of carbonation. A very good beer on a cool autumn day.

About what one would expect. Victory well known for their hops tackles a malty style and hops ensue. Oral this beer is a solid fest style beer plus dinner aggressive hops. I’m not sure it works overall, but it’s a decent stab at the concept.

12 oz Undated bottle served in Peroni glass (from notes). Clear copper with a creamy tan head. The head has decent retention but leaves little lacing. Good malty aroma with a matching flavor! Although I thought the flavor was better than the nose. Sweet malt flavor with enough hops to produce a balance sweet and bitter. Mouthfeel is OK, but more carbonation seemed desirable, A marzen that is a bit above average.

Poured a deep amber with moderate head and light lacing. Aroma was of slightly sweet malts with a slight fruity background. Taste was primarily malts upfront with a slight tanginess and mild/moderate hop finish. Palate was decent. Overall a nice Octoberfest/Marzen.

Draught. Copper red with small off white foamy head, doughy aroma, sour taste with a hint of grapefruit, low carbonation, long sour finish. Interesting oktoberfest with a different twist.

(Bottle, 0.355 l - BB 11 Jul 2015, at Maltainen Riekko, 20141121) The beer poured brown and almost clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had grass, malts and molasses. Palate was medium bodied with high carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, sugary sweetness and bitterness. Aftertaste was sweet, malty and bitter. A too sweet interpretation of an Oktoberfestbier.

35,5 cl bottle @ One Pint Pub, BBE 11.07.2015. Aroma is rather malty and grainy with some sweet tones and hints of toffee. Flavour has vegetables, toffee, minerals, some goosebery bush and nettles. Thin and too much off-flavours here.

Medium kullsyre. Kort
