3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
12oz. bottle. Slightly opaque golden color topped by a fairly active head that dissipates a bit quickly. Aroma is of bready malt with a faint touch of hay. Flavor is typical for the style, perhaps just a bit too sweet. The hops do appear more fully on the back of the tongue. Mouthfeel seems a little thin to me, but I’ve already been drinking winter seasonals this year! This is a pretty good O-fest, but I’ll stick with the German brewers for the best.

A bold wonderfully smooth Oktoberfest style with a slight honey finish. Something good to sit down next to the campfire with.

Pours a hazy reddish Amber with small wispy white head
Bready malt with caramel and raisin with a touch of roast and honey in the flavor, earthy hop.
Medium bodied with medium high co2, lingering sticky honey like maltiness in finish.
Very enjoyable octoberfest style beer. Lots of character and well balanced.

Draft. Aroma of caramel and oak. Flavors of caramel, vanilla, oak and maybe even a bit of cinnamon. Lots of good flavors, but, as other commentors have noted, is a bit watery, mineral on the palate. Otherwise excellent.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz bottle- Pours clear autumn amber with a nice dense bubbly off white head. Aroma is caramel malts, maple, sweet and appealing. The taste is strong caramel malts, has a somewhat mineral like well taste similar to some Euro lagers, but pretty thin and boring otherwise. Just okay.

Poured a nic copper but with minimal head and no retention. Aromas of Carmel malts, wet bread. Sweet on the nose and taste. A bit thin in the mouth. Taste is bready as is the finish. Typical of the style.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
12 oz bottle from work. Aroma is doughy, bready, caramelly, toast. Pours clear amber with a medium bone-white head with decent retention. Taste is too sweet for my tastes, very bready. Some alcohol warmth. Kind of thin and watery. It’s not too bad, just not my cup of tea. I’ll drink it, though.
