Commercial Description:
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

Nice, nonthreatening fest beer. Very easy to drink. Amber-copper pour with a small head. Slight yeasty bread notes. Good use of hops seals the deal.

it’s alright: aroma--bread, floral, buttered broccoli; caramel, soap, grapefruit/peel aftertaste like joeymacaroni notes below me--meh.

pours a nice amber colour with a thin off white head. Aroma is caramel and toasty malt. Perhaps hints of a light floral-spicy hop. Flavour is very soft maltiness. Toasted biscuity malt. Tangy malt finish. Slight grassy hop presence

(BB 12/09/02) Beautiful color. Head is short lasting. Rich malty palate. Very drinkable and smooth. Victory does it again.

Bottle. Pours a deep clear amber with a minute head that disappears. Aroma is malt, bread, some citrus. Flavor is brown sugar, malt, fruit, hint of floral hops. Palate is medium, low carbonation, malty finish. Acceptable.

Not bad, not great. But so far this year of the maybe 8 or so micro and german OKfestsbiers I’ve had, none have been the shit. Poured and ok medium to small off white head and bit of lace. Color is a nice medium amber. Aroma is very nice; malty and a bit spicy. Flavor is ’bout the same. Body’s a tad thin. ’S’okay. Nothing to write home about. Drinkable. Session beer. Body’s ok too.

A nice copper, faded leaf color. A real fall looking beer. I can’t believe they are alreading selling it this early in the year. Well, it is the end of August, and this is Atlanta, and we have had a record breaking month as far as the heat is concerned. All tha aside, the beer is transparent, has a weak caramel, and crystal malt smell to it. The malt is definitely noticeable. A creamy and smooth beer, but boy does that malt shine through. Wow, very malty very very little hop flavor. The "kiss of hops" on the description must be a butterfly kiss or something, because this lacks hops. Smooth, malty, and not up to the Victory standards.
