COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

On draft at buffalo wild wings. Good octoberfest, nice mouthfeel. Not too thin. Malty.

Pours a dark gold to brown color with a small white head. No real distinct aroma. Rich taste and well balanced. Medium, smooth body with light carbonation. Not a fan of Oktoberfest fan and this one hasn’t changed my mind.

Pours Amber with off white head. Nice sweet aroma with a bit of malt. THe flavor is quite full for a Märzen with hints of caramel, fruit and a nice finish. Held up well in comparison to Ayinger’s Oktoberfest.

UPDATED: SEP 21, 2008 Electric amber body with a thin white head, this seasonal brew is serviceable but not close to my favorite.

12 oz. bottle poured into dimpled mug. Pours a remarkable amber color with a generous tan head. Slightly sweet malty bread aroma with notes of caramel. Nutty and caramel flavors up front with slight hoppy spiciness on the tail end. Very smooth and drinkable, as the style demands. I could see myself drinking a bootfull of this.

12 oz bottle. Wow, a somewhat rare beer that isn’t badly rated, found on the 99 cent shelf of my liquor store. Sweet deal. Pours a brownish red, with hints of orange, along with a tiny white head that disippates quickly. Smells of hops, caramel, and some strange fruit (the caramel makes me think of apple though). Tastes of lots of caramel malt (almost has bite to it, with how much there is), and thats about it. Light-medium bodied, with that strange bite. Interesting beer, worth the 99 cents, but absolutely not special. Almost reminded me of a barley wine.

Overall kind of average. Not much head. Pretty nice malty aroma. Medium bodied and satisfying. Pretty sweet.

Poured into glass. Aroma is moderate. Smells sweet, carmel, and toffee. Hoppy, medium density, little head. Color is amber and clear. perfect balance between hops and malt. Okay oktoberfest, but no Samuel Adams..

More of a traditional marzen, albeit not their best effort. A little bland. Light sweetness with malt presence. Finishes with some off-bitterness.
