COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

A pretty average okt-fest. Pours a muted red. Kind of tastes a bit oily ,but feels like water?

12oz bottle into pint glass. Pours a clear copper with amber hues. Initially a one finger off-white head that leaves a bit of spotty lacing. Very malty aroma of caramel, roasted almonds, fresh grains, biscuits, and wheat bread. Even getting a good amount of grassy hops in the nose. Taste is heavy toasted caramel malts up front with wheat, bitter earthy hops, and doughy bread. Long, lingering finish of toasty caramel malts. Clean and crisp. Medium bodied, slick texture, slightly higher than average carbonation. Highly drinkable. This is Oktoberfest done right! Maybe not the defining Oktoberfest beer, but should certainly be in the top 10 of any Oktoberfest best of lists.

Copper in color, with a nice head. Malty aroma that is tempting! Thought the mouthfeel was good, with a nice malty flavor that is tinged with hops. Nice bittering.

Nice medium bodied, cold aged marzen lager. Stellar CO2 powers a nice, fixed aroma of spices and herbs- a pretty good Oktoberfest style beer that is easy to drink, with well hidden alcohol.

This beer has a mild malty/fruity aroma that is similar to the earthy smell of wet decaying leaves. It is amber in color and pours a thick cream colored head that dissolves quickly leaving only a small trace of lacing. This thin beer produces a weak fruity nutty/ biscuit flavor. It produces a gentle hint of a metallic substance as it lingers.

Nutty, slightly bready aroma with milld, floral hops and some malted grain. It pours a light mahogany without much of a head. The mouthfeel is more vigorous than the beer visually portends. The taste is gentle, nutty malts and a nice hop bitterness. Nice and sessionable.

UPDATED: NOV 30, 2014 It slips down now that autumn is on the door. It simply does what it should.

I detect barrel in the aroma. Fizzy carbonation. Not too much body and kind of bland. I hate to just repeat what others have said, but I expected a better beer from this brewer.

Pours a clear copper with no head at all. Aroma is caramel malt and spice. Taste is nutty with carmel sweetness. Hop flavors and bitterness are almost nonexistent. Finish is tart orange peel, as others have noted.

Bottle to shaker glass, pours clear dark amber. Quick one finger head, no real lacing with little retention. Aroma caramel and burnt sugar. Taste is mainly malty sweet, with just a touch of bitterness. Medium bodied, light carbonation, creamy mouth feel. Finishes dry. Tasting notes of caramel, biscuit, tree nuts, grass and herbs. Not a bad fest beer.
