3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours out a nice clear orangy amber that reminds me of pumpkins and ancient bugs. Also has disappearing white head. Smells like a nice Oktoberfest which is past its prime, which makes sense since this is several months out. It’s got nice sweet malt, roasty, chestnut, and bread notes. The taste is like the aroma good bready malt, with Oktoberfest sweetness. The palate is pretty thin, but enjoyable. Overall this is a fine brew, another good one from Victory.

Sparkling amber color with a short lived head. Rather smooth light to medium bodied lager with a touch of hops. Decent drinking seasonal.

3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
A clean amber orange pour with a very light off white head. . A flavor that is a bit malty with a decent bitter finish. Mouthfeel is prettty solid. There was something not right with this one. Just don’t know what it is.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rated while drinking: Pours amber-red with an off-white head that quickly, quickly dissipates to nothing. Smells very malty with hints of maybe spicy hops or just spices in general. Pretty one dimensional, but it smells good. Fresh, malty, caramel-sweet taste with hints of sugar or molasses in there. Solid tasting for the style. A bit watery in body than I expected, but nicely carbonated and very drinkable from start to finish. Tasty variation on an Oktoberfest from Victory. Glad I was able to find it this season.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ home. This is a great Oktoberfest. Amber pour w/ thin just off-white head. Light maltiness in the nose, and slightly sugary across the palate. Grainy and dry. Very good.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
A few malts on the aroma but not much. Flavor is thin with a few malts and some Carmel. this beer is not much to write home about. Amazed they can get away with charging so much for it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This was a good, crisp, and balanced offering. This would be excellent with a hearty meal or just to enjoy at a bar somewhere. Has great versatility and has tasty finish. Nothing overwhelming, just solid all around upon examination.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours amber with off white head. This is malty, but nondescript. Just sweet. Some hoppiness. Not bad. I’m never impressed by Oktoberfests, but this is actually a decent one.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Nice amber color, no head, not even any little bubbles looked flat. Aroma is weak, slightly malty maybe a little ripe fruit, kinda bananaish. Flavor is sort of malty with a bit of a nutty finish. Had this draft at Victory in the sampler. One of the weakest in the show.
