COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

Malty and caramel notes of the fragrance. The taste is also quite malty and almost saturating when drinking it. But it is easier hops flavor too. Good bitterness that fills the upper part but disappears really fast. An easy to drink Oktoberbeer. Follow me @ Kung av öl @ Facebook for more pictures and ratings.

Copper brown pour with tan head. Roasted caramel malt aroma. Creamy smooth malty mouth feel and flavor. Nice amount of hops bitterness; just to take the edge off the sweet malt flavors. Nice rich Oktoberfest lager.

Draft sample at Cincy Beerfest 2014 on Fountain Square. Pours a deep clear orange color with a small off-white head. Notes of caramel, toast, nuts, straw, spice, and dried leaves. Light-medium bodied, with medium carbonation and a toasty mouthfeel. Really solid. The flavors and aromas really come through in this one, whereas other marzens can be a bit bland. Best of the style I’ve had in quite some time, probably the best American one. Ignore the Swede two spots before me on this one.

Pours a nice clear, orange amber with straw-colored head that fades too quick. Aroma is crisp malt with caramel, bread, and brown sugar. Taste is sweet malts, fall leaves, and grain, with mild spices. Classic for the style. Sweet overall. Safe, agreeable, appropriate as fall starts rolling in.

Bottle from Systembolaget. Clear light amber with a small thick head. Aroma and taste of grain, malt, caramel and crispbread. The finosh was dry. Drinkable but nothing special.

On tap at Global Brew. Pours a clear pale amber with a thin off white head. Mild non-destinct aroma. Taste is sweet caramel malt, buttered biscuits along with some nuttiness. Good, true to style.

On tap at John’s Restaurant & Tavern in Winfield, IL., and dispensed to a shaker displaying a clear & bright, brownish amber color, with a frothy tan layer of head foam that reduced in size some, but persisted, and light spots & strands of lacing. The aroma was toasted, with some moments of roasted scent, modest caramel, and a touch of toffee. The taste followed similarly, adding some initial, grainy astringency, low to moderate hop bitterness that showed a bit of earthiness and lingering quality, carried to the palate by decent carbonation, in a medium body, with a pleasantly dry finish. Served a bit too cold, but I had little patience to let it warm, as it only seemed to affect the lacing anyway. Solid Marzen.

Bottle poured a clear amber hue w/ a small beige head quickly diminishing to a ring. Moderate aromas of dark bread and malt. Initial flavor is moderate sweet w/ a light bitter finish. Tastes are caramel, brown sugar, bread and malt. Light to medium bodied, good carbonation and a light creaminess to the mouthfeel. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
