This did have something sweet added to it. Poured Light brown with a tan head. Sweet caramel in the lager with a hop ending. MaxPower (961), St. Louis, Missouri, USA

Has a light flowery and malty caremel aromas, sweet, balanced malts and clean tasting, light body, a little thin semi-watery mouthfeel, this is a decent oktoberfest, but nothing special. Pours a red burgundy, dark cherry color, mostly clear with a small white head, mostly disipating, obviously fiiltered. Aroma of cherries, big yeast notes, light honey notes and slight bread dough. Also a touch of metal. Flavor is very fruity at the starrt with a huge yeastiness. I like the yeastiness but I’d like to see more fresh hops, it’s alot of light pale malts with a touch of crystal. Good, but reminds me too much of weyerbacher autumnfest, were they coordinating the brewing of these beers?? Could be (just kidding). Vac (2394), San Diego, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Oct 9, 2002 Crisp clear amber color with a foamy head. Sweet well balanced aroma leaning towards malty. Sweet malt flavor with a hoppy background. This beer is smooth, yet oily. Ungstrup (15476), Frederiksberg, Denmark

The aroma is sweet with notes of caramel and malt. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw and caramel. I find it quite mainstream. jb (1063), Rochester, New York, USA

Orange-ish color, thin head, that familiar malty aroma. Molasses palate, sugary, not much more going on. Typical Oct. JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 16, 2006 Autumn in a glass, as a lot of these beers of this style are. Body is orange with red and brown, like a bag of leaves. Smell is faint spices, heavy malt. Decent flavor, actually a little heavy for the style. Malt throughout, could use a little dryness. Not a bad beer. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA
