Seductively smooth, this medium-bodied amber beauty is akin to the great Oktoberfest beers of Munich. All German hops make this lager true to style. Patient cold aging makes it wonderfully smooth. In bottles September through February

Pours an amber color with an off-white head. Aroma is of toasted malts, caramel, spices, and a very subtle hop aroma. Dissapointed in the flavor on this one after the aroma. Very little flavor of toasted malts, caramel, and a little spices. Flavor dies away pretty quickly. I was hoping for something better.

Copper. Good malt bready/caramel aroma with some hops. Taste is moreso malt. Well balanced.

Hopless compared to most Victory brews. Amber color. Medium body. Sweet flavor, with malt.

Pours bright, clear orange-red, with a tiny head that disappears quickly. Aroma of lightly toasted malts and and some grapey fruitiness. Mild sweet malty flavor with some white grape notes, honey and a moderately dry finish. Light-to-medium bodied with low (almost flat) prickly carbonation. Pretty easy drinking and reasonably true to style, but not exceptional.

Not bad. Pours out a nice orange color with a small beige head. aroma is malty and rather sweet. as was the flavor. A little to sweet for my liking, but over all not a bad beer at all.

First sniff of the aroma took me back to memories of Genny lager. This did have something sweet added to it. Poured Light brown with a tan head. Sweet caramel in the lager with a hop ending.

Noticed a Victory at our local store I hadn’t rated before and scooped it quickly. Orange-ish color, thin head, that familiar malty aroma. Molasses palate, sugary, not much more going on. Typical Oct.

Thought they would really nail this style, but not so much. It’s pretty good, but certainly not an upper-tier Oktoberfest.

On tap at brewery. Copper color with a thin off-white head. Aroma is malty with a bit of honey. Flavor is woody and malty with a finish that reminds me of fish bait. Not quite as disgusting as that sounds but just average.
