a little sweet and thin in the palate. some kind of a nut flavor with again not much of a palate. semmed one dimeinsional and not too much of a dimension at that.
2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 Tanker12 (173) - USA - OCT 9, 2009
A few malts on the aroma but not much. Flavor is thin with a few malts and some Carmel. this beer is not much to write home about. Amazed they can get away with charging so much for it.

amber color. Smell of malt, hops, graham crackers/ pie crust, minor caramel and pepper. Taste of roasted malt, caramel, pie crust, minor clove & cinnamon and light caramel. Has a vegetable/dirt aftertaste.

12oz bottle. Aroma: Lightly toasted nuts and some german malts. A bit of caramel. Appearance: Dark amber in color and clear. Off-white head was full and frothy with good retention. Fair lacing. Flavor: German maltiness with some light toast and caramel. Dry finish. Palate: Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Overall: Nothing wrong with this beer, but plays it to safe to stand out.

Draft at the Pub at Wegmans, King of Prussia, PA. Rather forgetable, bland and sweet. A pleasant enough amber-gold colour but little flavour other than a caramel sweetness.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20 Beerlando (3342) - Orlando, Florida, USA - NOV 22, 2010
12 oz. bottle. The pour yields a dark, mostly clear, reddish-amber body with a small, frothy, beige tinted head. Settling quickly to a swirly, wispy film with a bubbly edge, the head leaves just a sudsy wash, with no true hard lacing. Aromas are predictably malty, suggesting strongly of caramel, brown sugar, and some baked cookie, but there are surprising chocolate and wheat notes in there as well. The flavor follows suit, again based in cookie dough malts, hinting at milky chocolate and some stale wheaty grain. Hops seem faded and floral in nature, adding just a touch of peppery zip. The palate shows moderate heft that is obtained primarily via residual malt sugar, as average carbonation distributes flavors throughout the mouth. Decent stuff at best. The staleness is a major turnoff....and this beer is fairly fresh.

12 oz bottle. Very malty and fruity. Not a big fan of this one. But worthy of another taste and a re-rate in the future.

Pour is a copper with a white head. Aroma is malt and that’s about it. Flavor is weak and watery. No hops or malts show up anywhere. A pretty poor offering from a good brewer
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 Stine (1434) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - SEP 6, 2007
Pours transparent, reddish-orange. Dill and vinegar on the nose over a brawny malt foundation. Touches of caramel and biscuit character. Tastes similarly vegetal and mildly sour. A bit of lemonade, some butterscotch and musty noble hops. The quietest hint of mint leaves. Not quite on the right track here. Cornbread and a metallic twinge precede a stale and salty malt finish. Like sea air. Mildly heavy in the mouth, and hardly smooth. The bar is not so high, but this one misses it a bit.

Clear orange with a medium head. Aroma of caramel and artificial candy banana. Light to medium body. Moderately sweet finish.
