3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
The color is true to its name. The aroma was floral/spicy/something. Tasted much like it smelled, with a bit of an alcohol taste added in. Not too bad, but I doubt that I'll be buying this regularly.

3.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice golden orange color with a tight white head. Aroma is musty, a bit sour, fruity...grapefruit, orange, lemon. The flavor is a little sour, slightly hoppy, grapefruit, sweet lemon. Decent bubbly feel...semi-dry finish. Not that great.

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: DEC 26, 2003 Pours a nice golden orangey color with a heavy white loose frothy head about two fingers high, leaves minimal lace in strings. Smell is super nice floral aroma with good amounts of crispy citrus with a bit of spice. Taste is very smooth with complex layers of hard candy, bright citrus of lemon, orange, and grapefruit, with a sweet caramel malt backbone and a note of spiceyness. Feel is full bodied and solid. One hell of great offering of the style, impressive.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
UPDATED: SEP 10, 2006 Great hoppiness, plus the spiciness I like. Reminds me of a gran cru with the spices. Great beer, the best tripel I’ve had tonight. Good brewery.
Rerate: Too alcoholic, too spicy, too carbonated.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
This one was a bit of a weirdo, peach and banana aroma, very peachy flavour with an out of whack sourness on the finish. I'd not call this one a tripel exactly, it's more of a belgian specialty ale, too spicy and weird to be a tripel.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Golden appearance. Spicy, floral, herbal aroma. Honeyed, hoppy, spicy taste, with a hint of tart fruit. Interesting complexity. You have to appreciate the artistry of the brewer with this offering.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bright gold color with a ton of visible carbonation. Sweet and spicy smell with some yeast as well. Sweet flavor with a little bit of fruit and honey in there. Full-bodied but very clean. Plenty of warming from the alcohol. Another solid beer from Victory.
