The Tubes must have had her in mind when they sang, "Sheís a beauty - why would I lie? One in a million girl" I wouldnít classify this as a trippel, more generically like a Belgian Golden. That isnít because of lack of interest. Fantastic fruity and dense aroma, with the yeast right there. The flavor was a little subdued, but beautifully blended. This bottle mustíve aged. The finish had some candy to it, lacking dryness of a tripel (a plus to me)Victory it is!

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours a hazy apple juice color with a medium fizzy white head that dissipates fast. Not an uncommon nose for a tripel, banana, clove, spice, vanilla. Mmmm Nice peppery spicy start, with some carbonation to add a little more excitement to the palate. Yeasty dry finish. Alcohol is hidden marvelously, this is an exceptional beer.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
This "spiced beer" has a golden color with a lasting head. Appearance is slightly cloudy. Spices have subtle aroma and flavor enhancements, but a slightly yeasty aftertaste. You could taste the alcohol.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle: I really didnít know what to expect with this one and I couldnít believe how good it was. The 9.5% alcohol was totally hidden, without reading the bottle I would have thought I was drinking a beer with 4-5%. Very nice hazy golden color to this beer. Aroma: fruit, spice, hops, vanilla, banana. Flavor: fruit and spice balanced with malt and yeast and some honey and herbs. Medium body, gentle carbonation, with a slightly sweet finish. Another excellent brew from Victory.

Superb! Sweet taste, could not believe it to be 9,5%. Not a hint of alcohol in it. Probably the best beer money can buy.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Had it on tap. Nice hazy golden color. This is a rather complex beer with a very sweet taste. I am a big fan of belgian style beers, so this was a real treat. Give this a try, especially if you like belgians.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: AUG 23, 2006 A nice murky orange color with a creamy white head. Fruity aroma with no hint of the alcohol that awaits. Spicy initial flavor with a sweet after taste. I really like this brew. No indication of the 9.5% alcohol. 8/4/9/3/18
Bubbly mellon orange color with a nice head of tiny white bubbles that lasts till the end of the glass. Aroma is spicy and just a touch of sweetness. There is definitely some yeastiness to the aroma. I wonder how this would age? The flavor seems well blended with the alcohol hiding only in the background. The body is appropriate and the finish is warming. While the aroma demonstrates some sweetness, the finish is dry if only from the alcohol.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Hazy golden, creamy white head. Sweet aroma of spiced vanilla apricot and peach, fresh dough, with a slight hint of banana. Flavor is rich and doughy, with notes of honey, herbs, spiced orange peel, and pear. Medium to full bodied, soft carbonation, sticky, semi-sweet finish. ABV well hidden. Highly recommended for the tripel lover in ya!
