This golden colored triple is not only spicy and deleicious, it will put you on your arse. ABV is hidden TO well. I really loved this brew. Victory continues to kick ass in the beer department.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Light golden appearance. Yeast and light spice in the nose, slight hoppy notes. Body is semi-sweet, fairly malty, and touches of yeast. Very juicy and fruity. Finishes slightly hoppy, sweet and dry. Very nicely done, complex Belgian-style Strong.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Orange/yellow with lively, rising bubbles but no head to speak of. Acquired this in a trade with npdempse, he stated that it had been aged a bit. Syrupy sweet heavy malt nose reminded me of the Hair of the Dog brews. Allspice and citrus rind are found in the nose and on the palate. Velvety smooth with the alcohol masked until it lands on top of the breakfast tacos in my belly. Even sweeter as it warms with the spiciness spacing itself and coming through in the end. Wonderfully complex at this point and at the end of the 12 ounces the bubbles are still soaring towards the top. Awesome!

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
UPDATED: MAY 23, 2003 This one has all of the intense tropical fruit sweetness, herbs and champagne effervescence that makes Belgians fun. Very complex. Will enjoy revisiting this one.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Gold and somewhat cloudy with a nice white head. Alcohol is well hidden amongst a curious concoction of spices. Tangy, citrus finish. This is an appealing beer in a catagory that I havenít been too thrilled with (yet).

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This ale has alot going on inside the bottle. Excellent and complex flavor. Reminded me of Dogfish Head Immort Ale in the way it has so much spices. I will have to age some and see what it tastes like later. ;)

4.2 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Iíve had a six pack of this sitting around the house for weeks. When I first tasted it, I thought it was vile. But, after the third attempt (the pack cost me 12 bucks, I wasnít going to waste it), I found it to be one of the tastier new beers Iíve tried in quite some time. Itís certainly an acquired taste, but one worth acquiring.

Gold colour, the alcohol warms your whole body, quite strong. Some sweetness (honey), quite complex. Fruit aromas come out as this warms. This is one great beer.
