Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Cloudy golden color. Slim white head. Not like every other Belgian Beer I've had. Some wheat and honey in the aroma, as well as the taste. Overally, pretty decent. Bought this 12 oz bottle from Beers of the World in Rochester, NY.

Another nice beer from Victory, but it just doesn't measure up to the real begians. Still enjoyable, but doesn't have the effervesence, the aroma or lovely finish of a true belgian tripel, but an enjoyable beer still.

gave it an average score, because even when i don't like something, i think i can acknowledge that it is well made and that some people may like it. to me, tasted like a belgian spiced beer from hell. burning and medicinal, ouch! very very very unique and a surpise it's so available from a great brewery.

UPDATED: APR 5, 2005 good tripel. Alcohol can be detected. A hazy golden appearence with a good white head. Tangy medium mouthfeel. Fruity, spicy finish.

Cloudy golden colour, thick creamy lacing seals the glass. Aroma is honey and wheat with some citrus. Flavour is complex floral and sweet. Refreshing like a Hefeweizen and totally masks the ABV. A definite winner.

UPDATED: MAY 1, 2004 Now, that is a brew. What a glorious liquid this is, It is like nothing I have ever had, It has that American Triple malt/hops feeling, both aroma, taste and Palate. I would drink this every other night if I had the change to.

Nice spice, clove, butterscotch, banana and apple tones. Was almost too sweet, a whole bottle would have been too much, but it was perfect for sharing.

UPDATED: APR 22, 2004 This is great stuff! Hardly any head, but just a hint of creamy foam floating and leaving some good lacing. The colour is a beautiful golden amber. Gorgeous! Aroma and flavour felt a bit hard to pin, perhaps some peaches in the aroma and a rounded fruit bouquet to the flavour with some citrusy notes. Not heavy in body, but full and perfectly rounded. Everything about this beer speaks to me of finesse and great brewing.

Pours hazy gold/orange, with a quick disolving head. Aromas are of spicey sweetness, yeasty, and citric. Body is a little syruppy. Lots of tangerines and yeast. Banana, apple, and honey notes. Hides the alcohol very well. Excellent palate.
