Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Pours clear golden, minimal head. Aroma of sweet malts & grains. Taste of fruits - banana, apple, pear, with added spice, cardamom and herbs. Interesting brew, give it a go.

Tap at the Great Beer Bar, Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. Poured a clear straw colour with a thin white head. The aroma is rich herby, toffee, alcohol. The flavour is moderate sweet with a smooth, yeasty, caramel, light floral bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Deep gold. Nose of bubblegum and Belgian yeast esters with mild fruit and a touch of booze. Flavor is sweet Belgian candy, bubblegum, yeast, and candied citrus. Smooth drink, but too sweet.

Pours a clear yellow color with little lacing. Head stays a while. Smells and tastes like bananas and booze. A decent beer, but weird for me. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: JAN 23, 2016 Bottle in LA. Pours clear pale amber with small head. Aroma is belgian yeast fruity esters. Flavour is those fruity esters but they’re a bit harsh and not great. Medium carbonation, a little viscous, medium body. Moderately bitter, moderately dry finish. A little boozy and a little twinge in the bitter aftertaste. Not the best BGS by a long shot, but it’s not bad.

A very well-named beer: what you read is what you get. Pours clear golden with frothy white head that quickly diminishes but leaves slight skim. Aroma is yeast, spice, bananas. Bananas lead the way in the glass as well, but pears, cardamom and clove all have their say in a well-balanced mix. Yeast notes are present throughout, but less prominent than you might get in Belgium. Alcohol is a high 9.5%, making it less sessionable, but that doesn’t come through until near the finish

Pours a clear yellow color with no lacing, but it has very good head retention. Smells like a wheat beer and tastes like mashed bananas. A good beer, but not my favorite from victory.
