COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Pours a pale golden with a decent head and nice lacing on the glass.

The aroma is fruity & grainy with some banana and some booziness. Lightly spicy in the aroma, nothing drawing me in especially, but nice enough smelling.

The flavor is very spice forward, a touch sweet with a lot of bright fruitiness, some banana bread, & some huskiness.

I understand that this is a shelf beer.

Very drinkable beer by definition. Great spices that protrude beyond the boring appearance. Blue moon on steroids, plus some eastern spices. Aftertaste is world class. Mixed feelings here, but overall a great brew that i would buy again

Light amber pour with a white head. Belgian yeast funk smell maybe some apricot, caramel. Taste is overly sweet for me. Definitely hides the booze though. Syrupy mouth feel.

THX! 341 ml. bottle sampled @ Brugs Bier Festival 2014. Light golden, little head. Nose is mellow watery, old grains, mellow hops, faint citrus, weak, slight bread. Taste is watery, light grains, touch soapy, light USA citrus hops, mellow, touch bread, slightly sweet. Light, watery. Tastes a bit like a very old IPA. This is very weak, this is a 98 out of 100 for style here for an Abbey Tripel & 97 overall, seriously USA? This is pretty weak fare.

Pours a light amber body with a small withish head. Not much of an aroma and a strange sweet taste.

Pours clear straw with small head. Nose is Belgian yeast, some kind of spice, touch of funk. Taste is Belgian yeasty, funk, sweetness, bready, but especially at the end there's a huge taste of funk, maybe metallic, can taste the alcohol. Low carbonation, an oily odd mouthfeel. Not great. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
