COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Appearance: light hazy straw with a huge lingering fluffy white head. Aroma: fruity, herbal and feisty spices; sweet citrus. Taste: spicy and hoppy: cloves, parsley etc (maybe ginger?); warm alcohol; pretty bitter; some banana or pineapple. Finish: long, dry and bitter with the tiniest hint of sweet cereal at the very end. Notes: Clearly very complex and expertly brewed. Nice warming alcohol note without being overpowering. A little more sour/bitter than I like in my Tripels, but it really grew on me. Started at a 2.5 and finished at a 3.5 by the end of the glass. Good carbonation. Alcohol is well-hidden.

went down very smoothly. Tasty bready aroma. Hazy poor with a pleasant lacing.  Bready aroma follows through into flavour with some banana and clove notes.  Syrupy taste but very drinkable.

Pours a clear golden with a big, frothy head that dissipates into a cap. A lot of carbonation in this one. Strong aroma of bready yeastiness, followed by cloves and bananas. Yeasty and sweet all the way down. Medium bodied, and has a long, spicy finish. A cheeper, American version of the style, but by no means a bad beer.

Herbal, slight yeast aroma. Taste is slightly bitter, and a not so pleasant herbal. Leaves a odd aftertaste.

Nice color and aroma. However the taste of spice, cloves I believe, overwhelm the beer. One gets a little fruity flavor but not enough to compensate for the spice. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

bottle. Poured hazy yellow with a thick frothy white head. Aroma is sweet with orange and coriander. Medium-thick texture, fizzy carbonation that finishes with an alcoholy bite. Flavour is malty with pepper and banana notes and more alcohol. Not my cup of...beer.

12oz bottle shared. Bright golden yellow with white head. Lots of spider webs. Nice Belgian aroma full of rich spices. The flavor follows suit with a certain smoothness followed by the spiciness which is very good. Solid tripel.

A good golden pour with a big white head that slowly fades into a ring of lacing. The aroma has subtle hints of spice but the flavor itself is an explosion. Quite complex! The body remains relatively light and pretty smooth at 9.5%. This is a very good and tasty brew!

35 cl bottle @ home. Pours slightly cloudy golden with some sediment and a white head that leaves a little lacing. Aroma is malt, yeast, oranges, and spices. Flavour is spices, oranges, yeast, and a lot of alcohol.

Solid. Nice fruity aroma with clove and yeast. Golden color that was not too cloudy, almost like juice. Medium or average palate and not too carbonated. Nice blend of Belgian yeast, fruit, maybe some banana and spices. Alcohol stood out at the finish. Nice representation of the style.
