Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Bottle, 55 F from goblet. Banana, touch of almond extract, suede bookcover, and apple cider. Yeast exceeds typical Belgian expectations, adding fruity esters and a wheaty-oatmeal smoothness to the palate. Mouthfeel is rich, full, bubbly, and completely satisfying for this style. Alcohol is imperceptible, bumping up my overall rating.

Cloudy orange/amber pour with nice "Belgian" nose. Pleasing to the palate heavy on the tongue. Spicy. A good go to sipper coming in at 9.5%ABV.

Belgian ale spiced with coriander. Malt and biscuit aroma and (too) intense coriander taste. Lightly unbalance at the taste. Good body even if the 9.5% abv.

330ml bottle. Cloudy golden colour with fluffy white head and beautiful cascades of bubbles running up the tulip glass. Aroma of multigrain bread with honey and spices. The taste is like a strong wit beer - wheaty, honey, coriander, lemon rind, slightly hoppy and boozy. Full bodied and sticky. Really quite good.

I pours a golden color with a generous white head. Spice dominate the aroma with yeast and earthly leaves. The initial flavors of spice dominate the taste as yeast flavors follow as earthly elements, and a spicy kick to the palate. Itís a bit much on the spices for my tastes, but not bad overall.

I really respect Victory in general, but Iíve always felt this beer was a bit too much--even for a tripel. Pouts a fine golden orange; could use more head retention. Aroma is very fruity--apricot and mango, but mostly banana. Taste is quite sweet, there is a little yeast and a whiff of hops but itís mostly more banana, some bubblegum even. I can see why folks dig it, but itís just too fruity and sweet for my taste. Not bad, but Iíd take an Allagash or one of the Beligians (St Bernardus et al.) over this any day.

Great Belgian style. Tried it at the original location before drinking it by the gallons back in Florida. Public usually has sixes. If this was Cigar City they would sell it for $40 a pint and only offer it on April 21st.
