Ughsmash (3079), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA Sep 13, 2005 Light golden pour with a low white head. Aroma was quite strong with sweet bready yeast and an excellent spice bouquet. Quite dry on the palate, with a nice floral/spicy finish. Flavor was like the aroma, but overly sweet... and alcohol presence was greater than I would’ve preferred. Lighter berries and plums were noted.
rustychiles (480), Mesa, Arizona, USA Oct 12, 2008 Pours a golden hazy yellow with a nice white head. Aroma of belgian yeasts, cloves, esthers, malt. Flavor is sweet, banana, esthers, yeast, bread belgian-like goodness. Good trippel. thefle (23), , New Jersey, USA Oct 11, 2008 strong but smooth. tasted fruity and had a good aroma to it. I’m usually not to big on tripels but this is worth drinking thooper41 (235), USA Oct 6, 2008 12oz bottle: pours a hazy golden brown with quick fading white head, aroma of belgian pale malt, flavor is pretty close to the style but has this after taste i cant get over its like a stale taste. good beer other than that and cheaper than buying a true belgian and i get .8 more oz. tubehead (10), Atlanta, Georgia, USA Oct 5, 2008 One of my favorites - it is a truly American spin on the classic Tripel - it is beautiful light yellow color with the aroma of spice (ginger, notably) right out of the bottle. It is a very zesty brew with a slightly sweet aftertaste. It pours slightly hazy with a medium head. Victory keeps ’em coming - another fine beer from a strong pedigree. zootfinster (158), Chicago, Illinois, USA Oct 4, 2008 Hazy yellow with a medium white head, Very spicy with a lot of raison taste, Aroma is quite spicy. a very enjoyable triple, Alcohol noticable but not overwhelming
