COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Great tripel. This beer is sweet and fruity, with very little yeast taste. This beer packs a punch too. The tripel do you good. Believe dat.

Full bodied, thick tasting beer...heavily spiced with an herbal aftertaste. Good beer, but not for me

Pale golden colour & sweet smelling. You would be easily fooled into thinking this is a Belgium Tripel, only a little sweetness may make you think it's not (I told my wife, who loves Belgium beer, that it was a Belgium & she didn't know the difference). I cannot taste the spice but the subtle Belgium yeast makes this a deeply delicious beer. An excellently emulated beer. Rated by BrewTom

"didn’t look impressive...foamed endlessly upon opening, then the centimeter thick head was gone before anyone took a sip. nice golden orange hue, though. feel-9.5%, really. Light mouthfeel and good carbonation. taste-a light fruit (melon and gummy qualities) with a surprisingly mellow amount of spice. highly drinkable for the abv. easy drinking and smooth. i was hoping for a touch more complexity. this beer can be cellared for an additional two years, though, so I’ll try again. 9/09- better on tap (3.8 as opposed to 3.4) livelier fruit sweetness and fresher."

It has that Triple aroma so thats a good start. Really good taste. Just like a triple should be. Nice sweet banana, spicy, peppery taste. Really good and for 9.5 you can’t even tell. Really good stuff.

355ml Bottle from Brewdog Online Store (£3.80):
Another really good beer from Victory Brewing here, probably the best one of the five I have now tried of theirs and it’s not as if they’ve been feeding me poor beers up to this point. This one is incredibly well balanced and manages to hide the high alcohol very well with only a touch coming through towards the end of the taste. This one is excellent from start to finish and up there with the best that Belgium has to offer.

Bottle. Citrusy and spicy aroma, peppery with notes of ginger and coriander. Minor banana notes, strong presence of white wine. Dry and spicy taste, very (white) vinous, with a phenolic-alcoholic finish balancing the initial sweetness. Very good.

Clear golden colour, white head. Aroma of malts, light hops, light citrus. Malty flavour, bread, light bitter. Finish hay and malts.

The body has a hazy pale golden color with lots of yeast sediment and effervescent bubbles. The head is tall and light in color. It quickly settles to a very thin wisp layer. It still makes a few nice lace rings before fading though. There are nice fresh fruity banana and orange juice like esters in the nose along with light bready yeast notes. I also get a slight fruity/citrus hop like note the background. On the tongue the flavor matches the nose with estery and bready yeast and maltiness. This is followed up with some citrus hop notes blending in with spice and a touch of abv. The hop notes dry out the yeast and malt in the finish and then a slow fading bitterness takes over. The palate is well carbonated and lively.
