3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 sjohnny (254) - - NOV 16, 2012Sourdough bread and light fruity aroma. Cloudy gold with one finger of bright whte head that leaves a fair bit of lacing. Effervescent, thick mouthfeel. Slightly more bitter than I would expect from a tripel but not too bad. Adds some crispness to it. Overall very nice.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 13/20 AGGarcia44 (10) - - MAY 18, 2013
Strong bready/toast malt aroma along with sweet classic belgian candi sugar. Medium-full body. Clarity less than brilliant but not opaque. Strong "bite" upfront but finishes malt/sugar profile expected with belgian tripel. Overall a decent american take on belgian style.

Lots of flower power. Having one was fine but when considering a second, I just said 'no'.

There is a silly monkey on this bottle. The flavor is alright, particularly for a triple. Mellow and rounded flavor.

Standard great beer, a go-to of the available beers, but a great flavor and palate vs. ABV. One of those you enjoy more as you get deeper into it, one that surprises you (and is sneaky). Nothing crazy but one you could drink often!

This was one of the first high octane beers I had a while back, viscous and warming delicious

More fish moobs that a Findus lasagne. Some are pleased with $6, some with $1.33. Whose dreads do you prefer, those belonging to Don Letts or Keith Morris?

Fruity, citrus aroma, you can smell the spices, beautiful light brown/orange color, strong head on the pour, very dry to the palate, the spices are awesome on the back of the tongue and the after taste is sweet, bitter, spicy, wow! I picked this beer up at my local shop for just over $6, incredible beer, I would pay much more for. Great Tripel!!

Strange but not bad. INteretsing features and somewhat like belgian spicy blonde ales too.

Bottle at York Tap in 2012. Slight opaque gold with a fairly good head. Fine, light zesty aorma, with a hint of spice. Tastes nice, smooth, almost honied, lightly spiced. Hides the alcohol well, yeasty. A decent beer, but not truly exceptional. Still, a flavourful tipple.

Overall my favorite. I haven’t been drinking commercial craft beers for very long and don’t have much to compare it to. However, it amazes me how lively this beer is and I will continue to enjoy it. (almost 300 calories a bottle, NOT light beer).
