Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Minimial aroma, light color, great taste for such high ABV. Overall a nice, high alcohol ale

Slightly hazy golden colour. Aroma is one of belgian origins with yeast, esters, kitchen spice, banana and some dried fruit/apricot thing. More of the same ’tripel’ flavours on the palate with some grassy bitterness as well. It is a pretty decent brew for sure and balanced considering the ABV.

Belgian yeast dominates. Banana, herbs, light fruit. It?s sweet, acidic, and it lingers. The alcohol is hidden. Decent take on the style. Not for me.

from a 33cl bottle, pours a golden straw color with a small white head that did not stay long, only leaving a ring around. Aroma of citrus malts, yeast and mostly grapefruits. Flavors of fruity and malty, herbs, grains, grapefruit, toasty, honey and some spices. nice medium body, good flavors, nice triple. Has a kind of a sweet caramel candy finish. Light sweetness and bitterness. nice and enjoyable.

This is a good ale. Very pronounced head. Hops are understated, with all the attention on the malt taste, which has some interesting herbal flavors. Overall, it is a good ale, not great.

The aroma is floral with a little citrus. The appearance is much like a regular everyday pale ale but a little "thicker". The palate is beautiful with a nice coating that pleases the mouth.

Bottle. Clear gold. Fruit and yeast aroma. The taste is very unique - sweet alcohol tanin qualities, light butter, spiced bite on the middle, and green apple. The high abv is noticeable on the finish with some numbness on the tongue. Interesting brew by Victory ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Light and luminous gold color, tall and lacy white head. Subtle but misterious aroma, spices, floral, resin. Light body, delicately but full flavored, avg length, balanced. Mildly bittersweet, crisp, hint of salt. Honeyed, hoppy, Pleasant, not huge beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a medium goldne color, decent whitish head with okay retention, not much lacing. Nose is Belgian funkiness, clove, banana, some dried apricots, grass and caramel. Mouth is medium-full bodied, slight sweetness up front, then dries out and goes a tad towards the bitter end of the scale, cloves prominent with some candy sugra kicking in, then some hints of vanilla and toffee, then ginger shows up near th efinish with a mild spicy note accompanying the ABV warmth. One of my favorite Victory beers. I’ve had this one before but apparently I never got around to rating it.
