Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Pours a cloudy gold with a spirited four fingers of soft foamy head. Recedes slowly leaving behind lots of clinging lace. This tripel is down to brass tacks with a sweet yeast nose, sweet fruit, banana and some floral and spice from the understated hops. A little alcohol as well. On the nose it lacks brightness and elan. Malt is subtle and doesn’t over contribute leaving an earthiness underneath. On the palate it’s smooth and buttery but leaves a touch bitter and with more of an alcohol taste than there really should be. It’s a good strong tripel but it felt like it was lacking in refinement and luster.

Nice neon light straw with a puffy head. Subtle yeast, bubble gum toothpaste, cloves, other spices on nose. Balanced and wide flavor profile - honey sweetness, coriander, peppers, yeast, banana, lemon, and many other hints. Gentle finish with spices and slight bitterness. It’s not going to trick you into thinking it’s a "true" belgian tripel, but that’s a big part of why it works for me. There are hints of Victory’s je ne sais quoi (waters from pale ale - malts from donneybrook) with a friendly assimilation of the tripel style.

Foggy orange-golden color without head or lace. A yeasty/boozy aroma reminiscent of a tripel. Flavors consist of spice, soap, orange, banana, clove and floral. It is pleasant and summery but almost too sweet...and metallic. A bit all over the place. Still fun.

0.355 l bottle from Alko Hakaniemi, Helsinki. Appearance is golden and clear. Taste is quite sweet. A bit too sweet for me. That’s not what a good tripel should be. Might be perfect for ladies who seek sweet ale or beer. What’s this psychedelic drug dextrin doing here?

This beer is very good. Especially for the price you cannot go wrong. This is one of my weekly goto beers. I got introduced to the beer from my beer distributor around the block from me ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Serveres best godt avkjølt i små glass?
