2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
A surprisingly light bodied but complex beer. Aroma rather neutral. Beer had another 2 years prior to expiration date, yet a lot of precipitate in the bottle. I don’t believe that is desirable in this beer unless bottle conditioned. Straw colored, somewhat hazy due to flocks. Taste was complex. Spices were apparent - coriander among them. Notes of liquor/higher alcohols present. More bitter than sweet. Not a bad beer assuming no precipitation.

Golden orange in color... Aroma of golden malts, spices, citrus, apple cider... Flavor is spices, golden malts, candi sugar, fairly spicy finish... Solid beer

Bottle. Pours gold. Belgy, bready yeastiness with a hint of lemon. Medium body, medium carbonation. Sweet, with candy, apple, pear, lemon, bread... Some zingy sherbetty boozy candy stuff on the finish. Nice.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Clear golden and brilliant white head sits proudly on top. Aroma is a melange of belgian esters and noble-hop qualities. Spicy, a little sweet (ripe banana). There’s a pilsner type influence. Grain maybe. This is more prevalent in the taste which is pilsner driven. Spicy, bitter and a little coarse. Finish reveals some esters. a little yeast, and scratchy bitter-hop flavor. Mild herbal aftertaste. Much more hoppy than other Tripels but the pilsner element and its coarse effect is not to my taste.

Hazy orange colour, with thin white head. The spices lighten up this triple , making it an easy drinking beer.

You can really taste the spices in this beer. It isn’t too heavy and nit too light just a perfect medium. Probably my favorite beer at the moment.

A decent tripel. Very small head that dissipates quickly. Taste is plum with a hoppy bitter finish. I prefer the less hoppy varieties like New Belgium’s tripel, but this one is OK.
