Enchanting and enlightening, this golden, frothy ale boasts an intriguing herbal aroma, warming alcohol esters on the tongue and light, but firm body to finish. Exotic spices add subtle notes to both the aroma and flavor. Strong, sensual and satisfying.

Light and luminous gold color, tall and lacy white head. Subtle but misterious aroma, spices, floral, resin. Light body, delicately but full flavored, avg length, balanced. Mildly bittersweet, crisp, hint of salt. Honeyed, hoppy, Pleasant, not huge beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Pours a medium goldne color, decent whitish head with okay retention, not much lacing. Nose is Belgian funkiness, clove, banana, some dried apricots, grass and caramel. Mouth is medium-full bodied, slight sweetness up front, then dries out and goes a tad towards the bitter end of the scale, cloves prominent with some candy sugra kicking in, then some hints of vanilla and toffee, then ginger shows up near th efinish with a mild spicy note accompanying the ABV warmth. One of my favorite Victory beers. I’ve had this one before but apparently I never got around to rating it.

Bottle. Clear, yellow. Aroma is slightly skunky, american lager-esque. Flavor is spicy, alcoholic, herbal, malty. I hope this isn’t true to the style. A bit of a disappointment.

Pours a nice golden color with white head. Herbal/floral on the nose with some spice and wheat too; follows onto the palate. Finishes with more spice and floral notes.

On tap at the Mayor of Oldtown. Appearance: finger tight white head that does not last, clear, golden color. Aroma: lemongrass, leaves, Belgian yeast, coriander, maybe light pepper. Palate: light body, average carbonation, light dry finish, thin texture. Taste: sweet yeast to light tart fruit taste and slight spice. Overall, super refreshing, great balance, and big tripel. From a bottle. Pours out a relatively clear golden hue and creates a medium frothy head. There's some residue at the bottom, which reminds us it's a craft beer. Smells of lemon and yeast and a bit of alcohol. Tastes a bit like a wheat beer, but a bit stronger. Nice beer for a hot summer day. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
