Three hop varieties have added tremendous zest to this Pale Ale. After a soft and full floral nose, those juicy hops saturate the middle of this amber ale with more flowery fullness. The malt body punctuates the lingering hop richness of this one-of-a-kind ale.

Draft at the brewpub. Pours a lightly hazy copper with thick, lasting, beige head that produced beautiful rings of lace. Nose of fresh cut grass, floral hops, light citrus and caramel. Medium body, pretty bitter, dry finish.

Wow - really bright and pleasant aroma and flavor with a harsh dry bitterness that ends up working really well. Very nice.

Growler from JC’s. Beautiful dank hoppy nose, rein pushing toward rubber, with some citrus and grapefruit rind. Pours deep orange with a creamy tan head. Smooth but perfectly crisp carbonation, full body, bit of bread and dry, dry, dry. Slight caramel base with a touch of alcohol, very hoppy citrus and pine. Rubbery medium bitterness. Finds great, repeatable balance. Killer.

From tap. Amber pour with great head. Nice hoppy aroma. The immediate flavors are very hop-forward without being overwhelming, with a distinctive freshness. On the back end, a lot of citrus fruity flavor. Good overall taste. The mouthfeel was poor, a bit thick for the light ale I would expect. Overall, a forgettable beer, though a good entry into the fresh hop category.

Pours a clear amber...bright, lively...with a medium white head...nice lacing. Aroma has fresh floral citrus...orange...and light earthy tea notes. Flavor has light roast caramel, dry leaves, and earthy/spicy hoppiness. Mouthfeel is light/medium and lively with and earthy/roasty bitter dry finish.

The label noted Victory Harvest Southern Hemisphere Ale......wonderful full copper colored pale ale aroma with very malty notes and slight hop aroma.....the taste was heavy in bittering and flavor time hops with mild aroma hopping....a truly excellent harvest with the accent on bittering and a flavor which hangs around a bit.

This was a special find. For an American pale ale, it was very soft on the hop side - but still had some citrus and a solid malt balance. Aromas were light and had plenty of citrus, but it was all too light to really enjoy.
