COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Three hop varieties have added tremendous zest to this Pale Ale. After a soft and full floral nose, those juicy hops saturate the middle of this amber ale with more flowery fullness. The malt body punctuates the lingering hop richness of this one-of-a-kind ale.

Vista Farms Harvest 2009 A: Light pale yellow body. (A slight turn off). Lively carbonation throughout. Massive, bubbly head. Great retention before crashing into a nice ring. Thin, sheet-like lacing. S: This years harvest ale was brewed with Pennsylvania grown cascades and then dry hopped with nuggets. The cascades are certainly there with a sharp grassy-citric nose. There is a grainy, almost lager like malt component as well. T: Clean, crisp and remarkably fresh citric (lemon) and grassy notes from the cascades and a nice herbal (tea like) bitterness from the nuggets. A very nice beer. If you could get me this beer fresh in june i’d be thrilled in the warmer weather. M: Crisp, light-medium bodied brew. Good carbonation tingles the palate. Clean finish. Refreshing. O: The combination of flavor and lighter body here allows this brew to leave a nice impression on me. Could easily have a few of these in a sitting on the deck. Reviewed on: 10-28-2009

Tallahassee, Fl - Proof - on tap. Pours a dark copper with a sticky off white head. Fresh spruce-like aroma - hint of chocolate. Flavor is citrus oriented with loads of fresh grapefruit like citrus bitterness, some maple syrup sweetness, a little bit of caramel stickiness. Thick, rich mouthfeel. Solid.

LIVEFAST (58) - Mount Misery, Valley Forge, - NOV 20, 2011
Pint from Teresa’s. Pours a surprising pilsner yellow with a faint white ring. Grassy, floral hops, slight bitterness. No malt background and a grassy, one dimentional hop presence made this fresh hop beer a bit forgettable.

11/19/11. On tap. Clear amber pour with a frothy khaki head that cuts in half but sticks and laces a teensy bit. Plenty of hop character in the aroma - a bit sour, musty, dank, and dry. Earthy flavor of green, dank hops with dusty pale malts, a bit of spicy hops, and a touch of lingering sour lemon peel. There’s a touch of something in the aroma and flavor that reminds me of plastic or something as well. Not bad, not great.

Draft at PP. Filtered orange-tan. Medium bodied, lots of floral hop character. Medium bodied, very well balanced. Smooth malt tones and pleasant, non-bitter hops. Well done.

Draft in Philly for Tony’s Bday. Pours a clear yellow body with thin white head that fades quickly. Aroma is sharp pine and grass hops. Mouthfeel is thin but refreshing with notes of grass, pine hops, soap.

Clear amber with a small white head, ok lacing, light retention... lightly malty, some light citrus, not very lively, medium to medium thin body, lightly slick finish... decent...
