Three hop varieties have added tremendous zest to this Pale Ale. After a soft and full floral nose, those juicy hops saturate the middle of this amber ale with more flowery fullness. The malt body punctuates the lingering hop richness of this one-of-a-kind ale.

Pours from 12 oz bottle a clear bubbly gold with an average size lasting foamy white head. Decent lacing. Hoppy aroma (citrusy and floral) along with some grain, fruit, tea and backed by caramel malt. Flavour of lots of fresh resiny hops, citrusy and floral again, lightly toasted caramel malt, tea and a bit of fruit. Quite dry with a nice bitter finish, how an APA should be.

This is probably as close to a perfect beverage or certainly the closest to perfect for an American pale ale as you’re gonna get. There are certainly other excellent APA’s out there but the really special brews move on to a higher category. Apples and oranges really -- none of the competitors are really better than each other. But each bring their own special attribute to the table. Victory Harvest Ale is such a bew. It is a bouquet of flavors dancing on your tongue and without an exceptionally high ABV. Truly a work of art. Between this and their Dirt Wolf double IPA, Victory is becoming one of my top three favorite breweries.

Bottle to shaker glass. Pours amber, 1 1/2 finger head, some lacing. Aroma is very floral with hints of grapefruit and straw. Taste is juicy bittersweet. Medium bodied, light carbonation and a sticky mouth feel. Finishes earthy bitter with notes of herbs, spruce, lemon, grass and resin. The bitterness tends to linger. A very nice ale.

Best by March 10, 2015.
Glass: Dogfish Head signature glass.
Appearance: Crystal clear and gorgeous hued amber body with a tall and dense tan head that persists strongly.
Aroma: The aroma is bold with a hop profile giving pine, grapefruit, floral notes, spicy qualities, and a dash of underripe mango, maybe some melon? Bready malts with a dash of caramel are noted.
Taste: Crisp and tuned towards bitterness without being overly so. Bready slightly sweet intro with a dash of caramel is quickly outpaced by bitter floral and grapefruit hops. Slightly spicy and citrus pith bitter. The bitterness lingers. The finish is dry.
Palate: Crisp body, moderately carbonated.
Overall: This is a crisp fresh hop beer with a solid malt base that gives to a strong hop bitterness. I don’t love the hop profile but the execution is great.

A couple 4 packs over the last week. This is a great beer that I wish I could get more of. Damnit. Supremely dank ipa with lots of weed/cannabis notes without being too sappy or sweet. Really well done. I am pleased.

Very nice malty aroma like a red should be. The hops kick in when you drink it. Lots of hops. Pine, citrus. Good brew. Dry and tasty. Bottle at Pinocchio's. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a sharp and clean golden with two fingers of sudsy tan head. Nose shows bright and pungent hops, citrus rind and woody notes with a dank character. A bright and clean bitterness shows in the flavor with a lightly piney citrusy feel. Lean bodied with woody hop notes and a very fresh and green hop note. Resinous and dank.

12 ounce bottle - Barrel & Barley in Woodstock, Georgia.

Appearance: Pours a darkened copper body, though quite clear, with a slim, near white head.

Smell: Peppered citrus, mainly grapefruit but also some lemon, black tea leaves. Subtle pale maltiness.

Taste: A spiciness akin to fresh-ground pepper, a tea-like herbal quality, as well as gentle floral and citrus rind flavors overlayed atop the base pale maltiness hinting lightly toasted bread with a little sweetness. Medium bitterness overall. Crispish, bitterish finish with more of them citrus accents.

Mouthfeel: Medium-bodied. Medium carbonation.

Overall: It’s okay, it’s fine, and, while I have had better, it’s by no means a bad beer.

This poured an orange to amber color with a white head. Aroma was of citrus and tropical fruit and mild skunk. Flavor was similar, mango, medium bitterness, light fresh hop skunk. Tasty.
