dkachur- who happens to be quite nice- sent this little treat of a beer for dominating the pick a number between 1 and 10 contest. thanks! Pours a clear golden orange with a huge, cratering, long lasting, housing insulation shaped offwhite head. aroma of pine, resin, grapefruit hops. fresh. juicy. touch of fresh cut herbs. nice earthiness to it. taste is doughy, toasted, caramel with some light tangerine fruitiness. leaves a burnt earth taste on the back of the tongue. nice body. pretty good.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Aroma is grainy, with some light citrus hops. Flavor is very simple, some sweet malt and finishes with piney hop bitterness. Overall it is watery and light bodied, also light on flavor. Simple and easy drinking, but boring.

This was a very crisp pale ale and i say that in a very good way. The pour was beautiful with a very nice head and hoppy aroma. The taste was smooth and the water was really the star.

Light amber/golden yellow with a thin white head. Low carbonation and light lacing. Aroma is of grapefruit, light pine needles, and a touch of sweetness. Flavor is of sweet citrus and first but ends in a bitter pine needle finish. Light /medium bodied and refreshing.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
I’m told it is brewed with Citra and Simcoe. The beer pours to a clear amber body with a tall white head and great lacing. The aroma is juicy hops, but isn’t quite a West Coast IPA. But, that’s where this beer is amazing. It’s a delicious APA that doesn’t have the traditional catty hops. The flavor was malty but really clean and sessionable. Hops filled in to balance the malt. This was a definite APA and not an IPA. Clean sessionable palate and "low" ABV. This beer was a pleasure to drink.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
A: The pour is amber in color with a couple fingers of white head that leaves some mild lacing on the glass.
S: A solid hoppy aroma right away. Juicy citrus with plenty of oranges and tangerines, perhaps some hints of grapefruit, too. A moderate amount of malt in there. Nicely balanced.
T: The citrus hop flavors open things up quite pleasantly. Plenty of tangerine and mild grapefruit along with some hints of pine which provide a little bitterness. Balanced with sweetness of bready malts.
M: Medium in body with a moderate level of carbonation.
O: This is very much along the lines of how I like my pale ales. Nice hoppy character without being overly bitter or malty.

Flavor is mostly the fore mentioned hops with some lightly sweetened malt. Finish is slightly astringent. Medium body. A nice beer. Thanks Jason.
