Light orange pour, thin tight head. Grapefruit in the nose. Lightly bitter on the tongue. Toasted malt plays second fiddle to hop bitterness on the way out.

Another good Victory beer. This isn't one I'd buy on its own though(got it in a sampler). Good and smooth with a hoppy bite, but there's a sourness I don't quite like.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 MartinT (6934) - Montreal, Quebec, CANADA - FEB 10, 2013
My Bottom Line:
A spicy hop flash rides this Pale Ale’s clear pale malts as bright citrus fruit slowly morph into herbal bitterness.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A sheet of foam lays atop the amber-tinged golden.
-Malts also develop mild honey and caramel notes.
-The mouthfeel is appropriately lean and the flavor profile is balanced.
-This is a Pale Ale that knows how to share loads of character without turning the volume up near maximum levels.
Bottle.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 ryanscourt (278) - Pennsylvania, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Solid pale ale, fluffy white head, pine hops with some citrus. A liitle bit of dirty socks in the aroma. Aftertaste is pretty short but overall a lot of nice flavors. However by the end just wasn’t too excited to keep drinking.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 jmcgavin12 (167) - Madison, USA - FEB 2, 2013
Pours a clear golden brown with a minimal amount of head. Theres a burst of citrus combined with a bit of sweet toffee on the nose to make for a balanced overall aroma. Taste is very crisp with a bit of bitterness and balanced by a bit of malty sweetness. Overall, definitiely a beer that I would recommend to others but not the best Victory that I’ve ever had.
3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20 Ericular (228) - Minnesota, USA - FEB 1, 2013
Pours amber with good head and good lacing. Aroma is very good and complex, with citrus hops, cereal, sweet malts, and yeast. Something different every time you inhale. Taste is mild sweet malt, followed by refreshing hops that fade into a lasting bitterness, which is accompanied late with a good dose of yeast. An interesting contrast to the hop-centric west coast IPA style. Much more balanced. Palate is medium bodied, pretty smooth and moderate carbonation. Overall a very nice APA.
3.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 LeftCoastRider (88) - , Washington, USA - FEB 1, 2013
Pours a light amber with a small head, Mild aroma of malt and possibly tropical fruits. Hop-forward, but not as much as an IPA. Notes of spruce and a sharper taste of something that is not in west coast pale ales. Full bodied, but not a long finish. All in all, a good ale.

Pours a semi-clear copper color with a slight head but not much of one leaving a little lacing in the middle of the glass. the scent smells great with its bitter hops and blend of grains and malts. The taste isn’t anything new but it is great. It has just the right volume to it as well as flavors. There’s just enough hops to make the beer great without going too far overboard. Some nice citrus and wheat hints as well. A very well made beer that I definitely suggest trying!
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 hockeybeerguy (212) - Portland, Maine, USA - JAN 24, 2013
It pours a clear golden amber and leaves the same color body. A one centimeter white head forms and lasts for a half a minute. Some spider web lacing is left around the sides of the pint glass. The smell has the hops up front, spicy hops that is with a bit citrus in the background. The taste has the spicy hops up front leaving a strong bitterness through the taste. The palate is light with nothing harsh on the tongue and a dry finish. Overall, this is a very drinkable beer that I would have again.
