3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
@Weiland’s Market, Columbus. Hazy medium orange-amber, cirrus cloud head cover, fine streaks of lace. Nice looking. Rather strong for an American Pale Ale, starts with malt, but it soon succumbs to grapefruit hops that never let go. A little malt is there near the finish, but never is able to assert. For hop lovers, this is probably a good "go-to," for the rest of us, not enough to go with the hops.

Bottle beers of europe. Slightly earthy, with a peach & melon aroma and taste. The finish has a nice sharp orangey bite but softens at the last minute.

3.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
FROM NOTES: August 23, ’12.
Poured from a 12 ounce bottle into a tulip.
A: Overpowering grapefruit scented hops.
A: Pours a bright copper color with a one finger off white head. Decent retention and some nice lacing throughout.
T: Bready caramel malts with a substantial grapefruit bitterness. Again, some resin, but this really seemed to aim for the grapefruit aspect of Citra hops.
P: Light to medium bodied with lively carbonation.
O: Above average pale ale.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
4th November 2013
Almost clear amber beer with a small pale cream coloured head. Palate is slightly dry with mild minerally carbonation. Dry malt with a touch of cream. Mellow hops. Mild orange peel. Finishes dry with moderate bitterness. Okay but I wonder if this is a little ’grey market’ aged tiredness.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap @ Mudville 9. A crystal clear golden one with a good looking dense and kinda lasting white top. Smells softly malty, a little bit of sweetness here and only subtle traces of grassy hops. Somewhat mild on the nose you’d might say. Tastes nice. A little bit of candy sweetness here, green pine cones and a light soapy bitterness. Not bad at all. Soft oily on the mouthfeel and just about average on the carbonation. Easy to drink, some dryness and a swiff of minerals in the finish. 20.06.2013

Pours clear copper color with a large head. Aroma is very malty and nutty, some wet hay and faint hops with mild fruity notes. Flavor is also malty and nutty, resinous hops, caramel malts and grape fruits. Soft carbonation, bitter malty palate. A little past it’s prime it seems.

Finishes bitter, dry and citrusy. Good.
