Pours a deep golden color with a fair head. A well built pale with heavy hop presence and a slight bitter aftertaste. Hops have that piney, floral notes of possibly Cascade. With a manageable alcohol content a quite refreshing pale.

The beer pours a golden-orange color with a white head. The aroma is very hoppy for a pale ale. I get a lot of piney hops, as well as some resin and grass notes. There is also a little bit of cattyness in the hop aroma. The flavor is a little milder than the aroma. I get some resinous and grass-like hops, but they are balanced somewhat nicely by the biscuit malt. The bitterness is low, as expected in the style. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

12 oz bottle: Pours a light orange with a small white head. CO2 release is decent and lasts throughout. Taste is bitter with a nice grapefruit citrus flavor. Nice and balanced and an easy drinker. The palate is smooth, bitter and a bit oily. Very nice Pale, bordering on an IPA or a bitter.

Strong grapefruit aroma. Light colored. Lots of grapefruit and resin. Oily mouthfeel. Moderate level of bitterness. Should be good, but didn’t speak that much to me.

Bottle at home in NH, shared with Charlie. Pours a slightly hazy gold with a small, white head. Woody, toasty malt aroma, some light grain and earthy hops. Medium sweet flavor, biscuits, toast, slight floral hops. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Good balance in the finish, some dirt and woody bitterness lingers. Very good.

On tap at Little Woodrows. Pours transparent gold. Very light and drinkable, crisp carbonation and weakly citrus flavors. Easy to drink, but seems watery to this IPA fan. Still, a great session ale if you want a light pale ale with some citrus flavor.

12 oz. Clear bronze with a large spongy head. Orange, flowery honey, light resin and metallic aromas. Tastes of Orange Creamsicle, spicy resin, and earthy honeycomb. Peppery wood and oily resin finish is a nice counter to the malt and flowery hops. Light body is soft, slightly oily, well-balanced and crisp on the finish. Excellent session ale.
