3.9 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours amber with good head and good lacing. Aroma is very good and complex, with citrus hops, cereal, sweet malts, and yeast. Something different every time you inhale. Taste is mild sweet malt, followed by refreshing hops that fade into a lasting bitterness, which is accompanied late with a good dose of yeast. An interesting contrast to the hop-centric west coast IPA style. Much more balanced. Palate is medium bodied, pretty smooth and moderate carbonation. Overall a very nice APA.

4.3 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 18/20
Says to drink by June 23 2013, so I figure this is beerís likely not more than a couple months old. Poured into a Samuel Adams "Perfect Pint" glass.
Appearance: Almost crystal clear with a very slight haze; orange in color. Thereís about a two finger head after the pour, but it isnít long before itís just a film on top. Lacing is pretty spotty from top to bottom.
Smell: I first thought it really smelled like womanís shampoo with spices in it. That sounds odd, but it really did -- and not in a bad way at all. It smells great. As it warms up a tad, I find that it smells a lot more like a quality pale ale with a valiant blend of hops and malt. Probably the high light of this beer.
Taste/feel: Sweetness with the hops up front, that develops into more hops... and then more hops... and then finishes with the bitterness, with the flavor of caramel malts coming in to balance the hops. Itís odd to me, because the hops seem sweet, and the malts seem bitter. Hey, Iím not complaining. The Citra (I believe theyíre Citra) hops, as usual, provide a very juicy quality to this beer, and the slight malty and spicy aftertaste on this beer makes it all the more satisfying. This is a great pale ale that has the bitterness of an IPA, but more overall qualities of an APA. Definitely a tasty pale ale worth seeking out. For the best flavor, I say take it out of the fridge five minutes before drinking it -- itís when itís at its best, I think.

Orange clear pour slight white head. Aroma of tangerine citrus piney hops. Tastes mostly of fresh green hops with a significant wheaty malty background with moderate hop bitterness. Buttery mouthfeel.

Crisp, clean, and pure, seriously, one of the purest tasting beers I have had, with the signature Victory hop flavor they have. Very nice, excellent PA, great summer brew.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours a clear golden brown with a minimal amount of head. Theres a burst of citrus combined with a bit of sweet toffee on the nose to make for a balanced overall aroma. Taste is very crisp with a bit of bitterness and balanced by a bit of malty sweetness. Overall, definitiely a beer that I would recommend to others but not the best Victory that Iíve ever had.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Orange in color with mild haze. This APA is rather unique in that in addition to the standard Floral Hops, Caramel, Yeasts and Malts that we expect, there is also a rather sweet butterscotch flavor in here. At the same time, it manages to balance out the APA and Butterscotch flavors out quite well. Itís light in body and the carbonation is stronger than I would like, but it feels crisp and refreshing on the palate. Much like Prima Pils, itís simple in flavor but itís does exceptionally well with whatever flavors it contains.

Tastes close to New Belgium Ranger IPA. Would qualify as an IPA in a few circles.

This beer is really well balanced with a bit of herbal character as well. Finishes nice and crisp, goes down easy. Very good beer
