3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
22oz bomber poured into a Karmaliet tulip glass. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with an effervescent head that doesn’t leave any lacing to speak of. Aroma is yeast and lemon. Taste is lemon, yeast and a little bit of funk that I expect from a saison.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
This is one my favorite beers to session - it’s got a great grassy, slightly tart nose that lingers for a while. The body is refreshing and clean with some barnyard funk, more grassy notes, and wheat coming through. I wouldn’t classify this as a sour or saison but somewhere in between. And at 4 bucks for a bomber, what’s not to love!

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle from Sonoma Cellars. Pours a brownish orange with a white head leaving long drips of lace. Aroma has fruits and malts and some nuttiness. Taste is of sweet malt, fruit, faint citrus, some tangy herbalness. Light to medium bodied. Finishes with some length. Sweet and tangy. Shrug? Victory underwhelms often - this one is in that line.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Presentation: It was poured from a brown 12oz bottle into a tulip glass. The label has a born on date and an abv listed at 7.5%
Appearance: It has a pale golden look in the glass with fine yeast sediment floating inside the body. The body is covered by a two finger tall head that quickly settles down to a thin film cap which makes for some slick lacing on the glass.
Smell: In the nose I get a fruity and funky yeast character with some mild spicy, herbal and leafy hop notes.
Taste/Palate: On the tongue fruity yeast and bready sweetness moves across the palate and brings some mild sweet/tart apple, lemon and ginger like spice notes. This is balanced with some dry leafy hop bitterness and it finishes with a dry spicy and mild hop character. The palate is well balanced smooth and easy drinking.
Notes: Overall a nice beer with some decent layers of flavor within a nice drinkable package.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
An aged bottle past its best by date. Aroma is funky, musty and sour. it has an almost aged ale character. It seriously smells like a sour. The taste is not sour, though. It tastes yeasty, slightly aged, some citrus and a funky note. The finish has a nice hop profile. Overall, it’s hard to place and I’m not sure how to rate it. Also it’s crazy fizzy! Infected? Who knows?

1.1 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 3/20
A light beer with a very mild hoppy taste. The after taste is very light and somewhat fruity, like citrus. j
I would pair it with......well I wouldn’t.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear golden with a fast-fading white head. Aroma is of an open field in Belgium; lots of flowers and pollen and lavender and dandelion with a pepperiness I can’t put my finger on. Flavor is nice and floral with a balanced bitterness that brings more floral hoppy tones leading to a dry biscuit/barn malt finish. Lots of flowers (and more dandelion) and a little pepper. This seriously tastes more like dandelion than that dandelion beer New Belgium made.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This is a pretty nice citrus-wheat-saison mix. Nothing mind blowing but a unique brew that tantalized the mind!
