COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The radiant energy of the sun gives life to all that we enjoy. Flowing field of barley for malting, surging vines of ripening hops and even pure, clean water owe their vitality to the sun. Just as we do. So in crafting this unique, hazy orange-hued ale, we poured in nature’s great gifts of German malts and European hops to feed the dynamic yeast that we imported from Belgium. Here in the quiet tanks of Victory our yeast brought vitality to this Belgian style farmhouse ale. That energy has created impressions that range from lemon peel to black pepper, though such spices are not added. Great with a wide array of foods, count on the bright soul of Helios Ale to bring life to all of your meals!

Pours golden in color with a thin white head. Citrus and hops in the aroma, and a smooth floral hop taste. Really enjoyable.

Bottle. Pours light golden with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, a touch of spice and a large grain and honey character. Flavor has more of the honey and sweet fruit, light belgian spice, not particularly dry, Finishing still bready and sweet with a lingering spice. Medium body and crisp carbonation. Refreshing

Pours a slightly hazy but brilliant gold with a huge fluffy white head that recedes to clumps across the surface. Some visible yeast sediment that collects at the bottom of the bottle/glass as it sits. Aroma is citrus, Belgian yeast, barn, and hay. Taste is sweet malts, tart citrus, and a dry, hoppy finish. Light mouthfeel with some carbonation. Very refreshing. This is a pretty darn good refreshing beer for the price (about $4 for a bomber).

Spicy lemon. Herbal. Big agressive flavors, but crisp and not overpowering. Long lingering spiciness and mild bitterness. Very good.

Thx! to Travlr. 655 ml. bottle sampled. Clear golden wheat colour, clear, almost no white head. Smell cat piss, lightly fruity white berries, fruity hops, sharp funky, fruity yeast,… Taste is odd combo of light lactic wheat, white berries, white fermenting grapes, funky yeast, fruity hops, cat piss, light bitterness, bitter hay, barnyard,… Less carb. bit full – odd.

Bottle at a kraddel tasting, courtesy of me! My 300th saison rating. Hazy bright sunshine yellow color, massive fluffy white head, solid lacing. Aroma of white pepper, straw. Taste is similar, decent barnyard funk.
