4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Bottle. Very pale color - clear. Strong, hoppy aroma. Very hoppy with some malt there too. Do not taste the alcohol at all, which is rare for anything around 9%. Love this one.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
pretty easy drinking ipa, especially for a 9% imperial. Pilsner malt and mosaic hops’ll do that :) Fruity and tropical aroma, not overly bitter at all. Not in Dirt Wolf category, but pretty nice.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Draft at Moriartys. Clear gold with a slim delicate white flame top. Not that much aroma when cold, which initially masks the huge grassy lemon floral taste. Unripe oranges. Lemon thyme. Pineapple cores. Strong hop bite. When it warmed one could easier sense the light caramel malts underneath. Buttered shortbread. Nicely done.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
This beer looks like a nice pilsner but has a nice tropical citrus IPA aroma. Over juicy pineapple tropical mango flavors. I prefer the classic piney citrus west coast hops as opposed to the juicy new varieties like mosaic.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle to glass. Pours a mostly clear deep golden light amber color with a nice off white head. Aroma is a wonderful fleshy tropical fruit, floral hops, with a touch of caramel sweetness. Flavor is bit sharp, fleshy fruit hops, hint of citrus. Light to medium in body with a lingering slightly astringent tropical fruit hops. Very tasty.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Slightly hazy golden orange, decent white head. Smells toasty, with a good bit of flowery hops. Taste is fresh bread, mixed with a nice citrus and flowery hop flavor. This was surprising - most DIPAs are either overly sweet or heavy or bitter, and this seemed to be well balanced and tasty. I’ll get this again...

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
12 oz. Hazy amber with an actively bubbly body that supports a lasting eighth inch of creamy foam. Large nose of green herb, grapefruit, pineapple, toast, caramel and resin. Tastes of earthy honey, evergreen resin, orange, mint and toast. Medium body has a smooth low-medium carbonation and just a nice touch of the abv.

4.6 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20
Phenomenal beer, an instant favorite. Gotta love the hints of citrus, so pleasing to the nostrils and palate. I had it last year just before they stopped brewing it. Too bad it is seasonal, I want this year-round. Bought a case today the day it was released. II do happen to like it better than dirt wolf

4.3 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours golden orange with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet with tropical fruits and a little cat piss (please don’t take negatively). From the hop profile in the aroma, you know this one is good. Taste is the tropics and nothing less. Sweet tropical fruits from the beginning to the subtle bitter finish. Awesome.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Rated on 01-18-2013 (Draft at 800 Degrees Three Fires-Fort Wayne, IN) This beer presents a small white head that mostly diminishes, transparent body, no visible carbonation observed, and a fair amount of lacing. The aroma is citrus, tropical fruit, sweet, pineapple, and spicy. The flavor is citrus, pine, tropical fruit, lights bitter, sweet, and malt. The mouthfeel is smooth and this beer is medium bodied. For the style, this beer is not overly hoppy tasting. It is very quaffable and worth trying.
