12 oz bottle from Tipsy’s. Gold and slight hazy appearance with a active carbonation and a big white head with light lacing. Clean, fresh hop aroma of pine, grass, floral notes and citrus zest. Similar flavor, green and hoppy with light peppery spice, mild to medium bitterness and light toasty malt sweetness. Light to medium body and easy to drink.

Clear yellow color, medium white head. Nice aroma of earthy scallions. Taste has mixed herbal biscuits. Not bad.

Transfer from BA review on 2-3-14- Served on tap in a pint glass Appearance – The beer is served a light golden color with a one finger head of white foam. The head has a decent level of retention, fading to leave a light level of foamy lace on the sides of the glass. Smell – The aroma is heaviest of a grapefruit citrus hop smell mixed with a bit of pine and grassy hops. Along with these smells are some lighter bready and caramel smells producing a mild but pleasant IPA smell. Taste – The taste begins with a cracker taste along with a bit of caramel and citrus sweetness. Some light pine hop tastes are present upfront, later being joined by some flavors of a grapefruit hop nature. The grapefruit grows stronger to the end of the taste with a grassy hop taste also coming to the tongue. Some more orange sweetness and caramel come to the tongue at the end of the taste, mixing with the nice hop profile to leave a smooth, slightly sweet, but moderately hopped and crisp taste to linger on the tongue. Mouthfeel-The body of the beer is rather thin with a carbonation level that is on the higher side. Both are fantastic for the lower abv. and sweeter flavors of the brew all while still supporting the hop taste to really produce a nice easy drinking IPA. Overall – A very nice session at only 4.5 % abv. A flavorful and nicely hopped beer with a great drinkability.

A very nice, hoppy, light, almost airy session IPA that has a mild flowery and citrus taste to it. It's not very strong but would make a lovely summer beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: SEP 14, 2014 aroma is melon, apple skin, hay and dry pine/juniper - flavor has dry green apple (similar to recreationale) melon, sap, grain, and dry citrus full and juniper with low bitterness -- not too dank but still interesting - great stuff

12oz bottle. Slightly hazy yellow-tan body. Excessively foamy head, took awhile to pour the whole bottle into the glass. Still before the best by date, but probably a little past its prime. Still has a nice bright hop bill...maybe amarillo, some citrus tones. Highly sessionable as intended, and pretty boldly hopped. Pretty good stuff.

12 ounce bottle. Light golden with a big rocky white head. Fragrant pine hop aroma. Subtle bitter hop flavor upfront is balanced nicely by a toasted malt background. Slightly bready malt character yields to a dry peppery hop finish. Very drinkable as one would expect for a Session IPA.
