Taster on tap at Cincinnati Winter Beer Fest (CWBF) 2014. Clear golden yellow color. Thin off-white head. Dots, ropes of lace. Good citrusy hop aroma. Lightly pilsnery, peppery type malts, but nice big piney peppery lightly citrusy hop, too. A satisfying amount of hops. Moderate bitter, light sweet taste. Light to medium body. Smooth, lighter carbonation. More dry finish. Solid, easy drinking session IPA.

Pour is pale straw yellow with a tight white head. Nose has a fair bit of grain depth with a fairly pleasant hop backbone. Taste is similar, nice grain bill with solid citrusy and grassy hops. Light body, easy to drink, well carbonated. Excellent session.

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2014 12oz bottle. Poured a clear copper color with a small white head. Much better second time around. Light herbal notes, malt. Tasty hop character. Easy to drink, nice sessonable character.

Draft at Smoke & Barrel. Poured a clear light copper color with a small foamy white head. Aroma was some light herbal notes, very light malts. Flavor had a bit of a soapy character to it, light, touch of bitter character. Okay. original: 6/3/6/3/11, overall 2.9

Draft at Beer Run. Pours a clear copper color with a medium sized creamy tan head. Decent head retention. Aroma of herbal, green, snappy hops, pale crackery malt. The taste is snappy green, herbal hops and pale malts. Medium bodied, well balanced.

Tap @Union Jacks pale yellow color with thin white head. Some hop aroma but not super strong. A bit of earthiness - maybe some Saaz in here? Clean, crisp flavor - sharp and refreshing. What a session beer should be. Good alternative to Founders All Day.

Blind Tiger, NYC tap: Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma is grassy hops and a modicum of malts. In honesty, I found that the taste was too light. Kind of minerally, one-dimensional hop taste. I was not impressed, but I guess session IPAs are meant to reach a wider beer drinking audience. I guess this is like the second-coming of light beer.
