Pours clear orange with a bit of head. Very potent citrus and grapefruit notes with a resin backing. Pretty sweet but long lasting bitter finish. Overall delicious beer

4.4 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Best by April 20th 2014. Pours out a solid golden color with sticky foamy head. Smells like spicy whole hops, pine, grapefruit, peppery, some tropical fruits and a little herbal notes as well. Could there also be a whiff of licorice? Tastes hugely of hops and some sweetness. Lots of spice, citrus and again herbal notes with some sweet malts. Cannot detect a high alcohol but feel a warming sensation going down. Palate is quite full. Victory uses whole hops which in my opinion gives their beers a unique taste being more earthy and herbal. Overall this is a very pleasant double IPA and a fine example of the style.

Didnt stand out to me from a double ipa stand point. Enjoyable but nothing special. Hops are nice and powerful. Good body. Nice lacing down the entire glass.

3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
An older 22 oz bottle poured into a pint glass. Dull golden with thick head. Aroma is mild hops and plenty of sweet caramel malt. Taste is dominated by big bitter hops and sweetish malt. Lots of hops, but really malt driven. Not bad, but I’m sure would be better fresh.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a very hazy, golden/amber with almost no head and carbonation. Small amount of lacing. Nose is very hoppy and citrusy. A lot of grapefruit and pineapple with pine and bitter hops. Very pleasent. bitter, but not overpowering by an means. Mouth is straight hops. That’s it. Very bitter with a slight citrus/resin mix. This beer is a hop heads dream. I loved it.

Bottle. Pours gold with a slight white head, barely any lacing. Kind of skunky/wet dog aroma. Bits of fruit. Taste is sweet, pineapple, some grass, bit of booze burn. Nothing great but drinks easy to get buzzed quick.

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 14/20
On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: Clear light amber body with a white head that has great retention.
Aroma: Mild but shows some citrus and tropical characteristics.
Taste: Lots of bitterness with grapefruit and pine.
Palate: Medium bodied, lively carbonation.
Overall: This is a really solid beer, borders on a West coast IIPA.
