abcfan (161), USA Apr 14, 2008 Not your typical IPA. Aroma is of a sugar filled peach and mild hops. Pours a clear pale orange color with a white head. A nice taste of sweet peach, apricot and hops. Very nicely balanced. Bitter finish. Would drink again.
DrDavid (361), Johnson, Vermont, USA Oct 10, 2008 (Bottle). Hops and citrus aroma. Yellow-orange body, off-white head. Flavor not particularly assertive....mild citrus, some sweetness. Not much of a finish. Refreshing, but not memorable. Jsawyer (23), , Pennsylvania, USA Oct 8, 2008 bottled. beautiful hazy amber body. thin head evaporates quickly. sweet citrus pine honey floral hop aroma. Strong carbonation sweet slightly malt then citrus hop finish. Maybe a little too much carbonation as it seems to skip over the complexity of the beer. The complexity is still there just a little hard to taste. It’s good. Not as balanced as a hop devil but to be expected. Pleasant bitter finish, slightly warming. MuttyD (89), Cambridge, USA Oct 4, 2008 Orange pour, white head. Spicy and floraly. Typical of a double IPA, very bitter finish. paytoplay (57), , California, USA Oct 2, 2008 On tap at Stone Bistro, nice hop aroma’s, pine, complex and very nice to drink. Lighter body with slight bitter on the finish. Nice Hoppy brew. bhensonb (3015), Woodland, California, USA Sep 26, 2008 Bottle from South Bay Drug. Lightly orange tinged gold color with a vigorous off-white head. Lucious floral hop aroma. Medium body with near creamy carbonation. Flavor is pale malt dominated by floral and fruity hop. It’s not so much bitter (though it is bitter) as it is hoppy. Particularly in the finish. More astringent than bitter. Brilliant.
