3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz glass at Stone Brewing. Nice off white head, with a light coppery body and a very intense hoppy nose. Slightly lacking in taste, based off the nose of the beer. Impressive if I’d never had their Hop Devil.

3.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Golden pilsner like color. Small to no head and little odor, perhaps grainy if any odor at all. Flavor is nice grassy citrus hop flavors with a light subtle effervescent finish.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Aroma has notes of flowers, grapefruit, citrus, tropical fruits and toasted malts. Medium yellow/amber hue with an average white head that mostly diminished and left decent lace. Flavor is very sweet and bitter. Palate is full bodied and watery with a soft carbonation and long bitter finish. Overall a nice IIPA from Victory.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours gold with a medium white head. Aroma is mango and tropical fruits with some faint peppery spice. Taste is initially the same, but the flavors evolve somewhat on the palate. The finish is a nice mellow bitterness.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Tasted at bier bistro in Toronto. A expensive bar in general but it was very expensive on the list, probably because it is hard to ship in. But I enjoyed it, good double IPA.

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Growler pour from the brewpub, courtesy of Andy. Thought this was retired. Pours a clean gold with fluffy white head and webbed lacing. Nose of caramel, citrus and grassy hop. Sweet and caramel-y with a pretty bitter finish. This used to be a favorite of mine when I was first drinking craft beers but I suppose my tastes have changed.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Very good beer from a very good brewery. Nothing really stands out about it to me; still better than a lot of IPAs though.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours cloudy gold with a healthy two finger head that provides excellent lacing. Aroma is definitely hoppy, but with a sweet malty base. Taste is bitter grapefruit and rind with a solid malt backbone throughout. Mouth feel is almost sticky with a decently mild level of carbonation. Overall a pretty tasty ale. Its too bad that it has been discontinued, but considering its being replaced with Dirtwolf I won’t complain too loudly.
