Dark amber. Scattered lacing. Citrus pith and peel, basil. Oily on the palate. The bitterness is herbal and brisk like basil oil. It's not as chewy as I expected. Well done.

Flaske 0,33l på Bistro Trägårn, Kiruna 27 Apr 12. Brun - litt rødskjær. OK luftig skum som fester seg litt til glasset. God humlearoma med innslag av syrlig frukt. Smaken er syrlig frukt med en ok bitter avslutning.

Citrus aroma. Little to no head off draft. Pours amber gold and copper. Citrus up dominants the taste, no malt background to support the hops. Lingering hop bitterness. Overall, a good example of the style without being exceptional.

Pours a nice golden amber with decent white head on tap and solid lacing on the way down the glass. Aroma is of citrus and pine from the hops, but also a faint sweet scent. Taste is hoppy upfront, but not overtly so, and a nice clean finish. Very well balanced American IPA.

Bottle from super market. Amber color, white head. Hoppy taste with a lot of caramel, citrus, pine and dry bitter finish. Fine, balanced IPA.

Hippy start with spices coming throughout. Light IPA malt and floral over tones. Available up and down east coast.

Aroma is a mix of piney hops and mildly sweet caramel malts. The flavor is grapefruit, notes of orange and other fruit, a solid maltiness and a mix of hops and acidity in the finish. More complex than I was expecting, very good.

In a recent IPA tasting this beer stood out to me. It was very well balanced, has good strong hop aroma and flavour but not overwhelming bitterness that some of the others had. I wish I could drink this every day of the week.

Draft at Sugar Moms. Dark amber with a slight foamy head. Rich roasted hop flavors. Good balance between some malt sweetness and bitterness from the hops. Feels heavy. Bit of pepper and dark fruit but hops reign. Finishes dry but not too bitter. Though maybe feels like more work to drink than it should.
