3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 pushkinwow (739) - Ontario, CANADA - MAY 27, 2011
12oz bottle. Amber with a large off-white bubbly head. Nice floral and hoppy aroma but muted; taste is a bit sweet but then the bitterness kicks in, slightly buttery, some grapefruit and a nice dry finish. A good IPA.

UPDATED: JAN 14, 2012 Bottle @ The Euston Tap & from Beers of Europe. . Sweet resin hoppy aroma. Cloudy amber brown colour, not much head. Bitter sweet hop, malt & resin flavour. Quite smooth. Not as hoppy as some IPAs
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Atheist_Peace (428) - Halifax, Nova Scotia, CANADA - MAY 26, 2011
12oz bottle. Clear dark amber pour with a light tan head that dissolves slowly. Very floral hops with a sweet malty back. Not the assault to the senses I was expecting. Very balanced across the palate with a solid bitter finish that lingers nicely.
3.5 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 Benjii (1686) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 22, 2011
Had this in bottle, poured a nice clear orange colour. The overriding flavour is of caramel with some bitter grapefruit also. The head was thin but lasted until the end. Not bad.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 AshtonMcCobb (779) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - MAY 19, 2011
355ml bottle. Pours a reddish-orange with steady bubbles and a generous head. The nose is of pine and soap, maybe just a little bit of grapefruit. The taste has pine, grapefruit pith and severely drying hops. The palate has medium structure, a very creamy texture and a long and very drying finish. Overall, a good beer, very tastey and could do 2, any more would strip the palate too much.
3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 blazingspiral (170) - Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA - MAY 14, 2011
Sampled in late April, 2011, and the bottle indicated "best by 7/23/11." Upon pouring it into a glass I see the brew’s clear copper body and note that it has almost no head. An exotic, fruity aroma greets my nose like a new and exciting lover. The first sip reveals sharp bitterness, pleasant astringency, and a dry aftertaste. This IPA alternates between sweet malt character and strong hops bitterness as it travels down my gullet. Very interesting and enjoyable.
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Westmeister (464) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAY 13, 2011
Bottle. Pours a dark amber color and a head that dissipates rather quickly even when poured vigorously. Aroma is nice but a tad light, with hints of citrus, sweet honey and a bit of the malts. The hops do dominate the palate, but it is offset just slightly by the malt backbone. I get some pine and citrus, but not the overwhelming flavors I was expecting. Overall, a good IPA that is quite sessional.

Damn good, and the kicker is I had an old bottle, I’ll have to retaste to see what it’s like when fresh
