COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Bold, spicy and menacingly delicious, this American-hopped India Pale Ale offers an aromatic punch and then follows through with a lasting, full-bodied finish.

Dark amber/copper color, off-white head. Light lemon-dank aroma, reminds me of a pilsner. Some sweetness up front, caramel malt flavors. Grapefruit-bitter finish. Don’t serve too cold, tastes better as if warms up.

To me this is built like a traditional English style - a full dark sweet malt body - not pale at all! - minimal carbonation and no real lasting head - but what lifts this above trad Brit bitter is plenty of earthy US hops - much enjoyed the super bitter finish - good ale but I’m into the modern paler high octane fruity hopped up brews with less malt body.

Pours reddish-gold with a small white head. Aroma of pine, spice, and citrus. Tastes spicy & piney upfront and finishes slightly malty with a lingering bitterness. A tasty, easy-drinking IPA with just the right amount of hops and a warming finish. Not too much as to overwhelm the palate, well-balanced, hoppy IPA session beer.

Very interesting! Very fruity nose for an IPA, but not the usual grapefruit and citrus. More like sweet dried fruits - apricot, prunes and a bit of mango. Carbonation low and mouth feel oily. Very fruity from the start with a dry finish. A real winter warmer, and certainly not a typical IPA.

Out of a 12 ounce bottle and into a tulip, this brew is pouring beautifully, topped with two fingers of dense, off-white foam and dark apricot in color. The aroma is not what I expected, very limited until I get my face near the glass. As the surface level is lowered, the lacing proves to be quite beautiful, very consistent and actually lace-like. The flavor as I tip the glass is almost non-existent, but after the swallow, I find a clover-honey resting on my tongue. Complete with the bitter taste that indicates heavy hoppi-ness, this is an interesting twist. Normally I find citrus bends in those IPAs, but this time I really find a honey-sweet earthiness that makes me think of summer in the country. I was fairly unimpressed at first, but as the brew warms, I am getting more accents in the flavor and am wondering where it will go from here. The palate is nice, medium bodied, lightly sticky, very consistent with the style, and just long enough to allow me to breathe that honey warmth back out through my nostrils. Sometimes, a little booze is nice - it really helps those flavors come alive and stay with you a little longer than you’d normally get to experience. I started this glass with less than high expectations, and am really enjoying the experience now. My suggestion is to not have this brew too terribly cold. It’s really quite nice!

pours clear copper with a thick off white head. Aroma is floral hops. Orange citrus taste with a long hoppy finish. Pleasant bitter linger. A really good IPA.

BOTTLE. Cloudy dark orange pour with solid white head. First time got a sweet "grape hubba bubba" smell, second time more of a fruity/floral hop. Sweet hops up front for sure, ending with a quick bitterness. Sourced Firestation Bar

Best IPA in the states both on bottle and draft. A shame it costs so much in Europe ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Pours a clear darkish amber color. Aroma and taste are sweet caramel, citrus, and has a bitter finish.

Had it on tap, nitro style! Pours a clear copper hue with a nice head and mondo lacing. Very smooth tasting IPA that has a even smoother kickback. And dare I say it, a smooth aroma to boot.
