I like the spice that helps balance the hops. Bells could learn a few things from these guys on how to not overdue it on one flavor.

Bottle, looks like it should have stupidly hot chilli sauce in it. Dark brown with a reddish tint with medium off white yellowed head. Hmm American hops. Quite mellow aroma, some citrus. Hoppy and bitter with some caramel malt characters, bitter finish. Quite tasty indeed.

Victory Hop Devil is the classic American IPA style. Enjoyable, pours with a white foaming head about 2 inches. For me most importantly in and IPA, you can smell the hops in this beer. I believe this beer has set the bar for other American IPA’s to compare.

12 oz. from variety pack. Some malty caramel with plenty fresh grassy hop aroama. Hops is more earthy and floral than citrusy and piney. Appearance- Amber with medium off white head. Taste- Full hop flavor but not too vegetalEnough malt to support the hops. Very bitter but not harsh finish. Medium-full mouthfeel. Nice IPA
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Spab (1118) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - APR 18, 2011
12 oz bottle at beerbistro. Pours a murky dark copper with small slightly off-white head. Big caramel malt and piney/floral hops in the aroma. Taste has a rich caramel maltiness and strong hoppiness that verges on spiciness. Lingering moderate-strong bitterness in finish; fine carbonation. Nice.
