4.1 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
This is the hoppiest beer I have yet to try,and itís good if hops are your thing.
There is also a fair amount of malts, but not quite enough to give it the right balance.Hos do dominate the taste.
Very citrisy,and lots of bite.

4.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
UPDATED: JUL 31, 2005 Pours a beautiful deep amber with a medium cream off white head. Some sweetness in the aroma but all fruity hops. Some peach and pineapple aroma. Flavor gives you a second of sweetness then fills your mouth with hoppy bitterness and a long clean finish. Smooth light to medium mouthfeel.
Cask version at DBA. Body seemed thicker with little to no carbonation. Flavor was very similar but aroma was muted and a little more earthy.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
The old standby. Dark copper, frothy lasting tan head. Great lacing. Nose is full of florals, citric fruits, and caramel sweetness. Very well balanced, but the hops seem to always want to win this battle. Medium to full bodied, creamy, soft carbonation, sweet hopped up finish. Always a winner in my book....

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: NOV 6, 2007 Trade from Docklock, Thanks. Smells pungent. Like cannabis. Translucent amber color. Hmmm ok now this is a hoppy beer I can appreciate. There are other flavors going on. Some sweetness from start to finish, lots of bitterness. Kinda like dipping a 9 Volt into spun sugar then licking it. This is obviously more of a British style IPA then an American. There are subtle flavors not just hop-explosions.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
Bottle. Rusty brown in color. Has a good mild hop taste. Tastes like bread and butter with some hops. Has an almost honey finish. Very mild well balanced IPA. This is a textbook IPA.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
bottle. dark orange almost red in color with a tan head. a bit of citrus aroma . smoothest IPA i have had. bitter is controlled with a sweet flavor. finishing bitter that lingers. this is what an IPA should taste like, not over the top blow your palate out of the water, but consistant good flavor.

4.2 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 17/20
12 oz. bottle. It has an amber/copper color with a medium head. The aroma actually has more malt than hops. The flavor is very nice with well-balanced hops and malt. After all the west-coast IPAs I have had this year it is quite enjoyable. I could drink a couple of these whereas it can be difficult to drink a whole pint of west-coast IPA (keep pouring in those hops Vinny, Tom & Tomme!!!). Am I a true hophead? Not yet but I am getting closer every year. Great beer.
