Bold, spicy and menacingly delicious, this American-hopped India Pale Ale offers an aromatic punch and then follows through with a lasting, full-bodied finish.

The hoppiness is very smooth. It starts bitter and smooths right out revealing a depth of flavor. I never get sick of this ale. Available at local bevy stores.

On tap. Amber in color. Nice hoppy (citris and floral). Very nice hoppy taste and bitter finish. For me, this beer was very easy to drink.

Good smell and look but sadly there is to much hops for my taste. Havenít quite gotten a hang on the ipa beers, probably an aquired taste I assume.

Good following and good ratings. I have to be true to thy self. Concur with the over the top hoppiness and floral chracter of this mix. Yes itís suppossed to be that way, but too much for my way. Hop at it!

Pour amber with a medium size head. Scent is floral and high hops. Taste is the same and very smooth and crisp. Well done.

UPDATED: AUG 31, 2006 Iím probably being a little rough on a beer that is known for hops. I have yet to aquire a taste for this level of hoppiness. The smell and the intense flavor just didnít sit well with me, but if you like hops, this is your deal. 7/3/6/3/14

RERATE: Cloudy orange pour with a nice head of cream. Some lacing. Aroma is citrus and grassy hops. Flavor is bright and vibrant hops but it is a little too rough for me. A tough smoother would be nice. Maybe some age would help.

Nice white head. Lasted a while. Hop aroma and hop aroma, am I forgetting something? Big hit of bitterness that lasts and lasts. Some malty goodness, but the hops rule in this. Dark amber color.

UPDATED: JUN 15, 2007 Tap @ Victory. Clear medium amber/copper almost mahogany color. Small head, minimal lace. Nose is roasted caramel malts w good hop presence. Taste is DRY & BITTER with medium roasted caramel malt flavor. Very hoppy. Somewhat sharp, full bodied, potent flavor. On the edge of being too dark roasted tasting for an IPA ( IMO). The hops, as strong as they are donít overpower the roasted malt body...... Add on 9/24/04: Rich with a noticable sweetness shortly into the finish that contrasts with the dry and bitter posted above. The head held up well this time and the 22oz glass looked so friggin beautiful I didnít want to drink it right away. The board @ Victory called this an AMBER ale......anyway the 3.9 still fits. 4/30/05 Had it on cask today at Victory. Very fresh clean somewhat sweet flavor but seemed a bit thin bodied. Still @ 3.9 though. 3/3/06. Just bumped the appearance from a 4 to a 5. add on 6/15/07: 12 oz. Quite rich, creamy, and somewhat sweet medium roasted caramel malt with traces of tea flavor and tannins. Nice hop flavor and bitterness. Rich somewhat sweet malt reminds me of Dead Guy, but jazzed up with the hops. This is NOT an IPA.
