Bold, spicy and menacingly delicious, this American-hopped India Pale Ale offers an aromatic punch and then follows through with a lasting, full-bodied finish.

Bottle at home (enjoy by 11/09/2015). Nice cloudy amber colour, big and beige, foamy head. Piny, spruce, spicy and oily hop profile, just lightly grassy and some orange zest and grapefruit on top of a firm malty base. Lasting resinous finish. Big body, medium carbonation.

First impression was a barrell cognac and honey. Complemented by aromatic hops and pine, peaches and apricots gives to this stuff exclusive character. D@BeerGeek

Rotgold, voller Schaum. Das Aroma ist Beerig, spritzig fruchtig, sehr exotisch und etwas malzig. Der Geschmack ist hefig, malzig mit Nuancen von Banane. Der Abgang sehr bitter aber angenehm.

Tap into a shaker showing moderate filtration and tanned honey. The nose is subtle and light, very difficult to tell much if anything at all. The palate is well carbonated and light bodied, with a light IPA bitterness on the finish. Big malty sweetness throughout, not much else.

Pours an orange golden color. Has about a two finger thick tan head. Pretty lacing around the glass.

Aroma is spicy citrusy. Itís got some pepper in it. Also some caramel malt.

Taste is quite hoppy and pretty bitter. Has a citrus kick right at the end. Itís a little sweet, but the bitter wins out.

Mouthfeel is bitter. A little oily. Finishes bitter sweet. Itís medium bodied.

Overall, itís a good IPA. Great even. I would certainly buy again.

On nitro, poured into a stein. The aroma is, as expected, mellow (being on nitro and all) with hints of caramel and bitter citrus and a dampness in the background. It pours a brilliant rich brown amber with an off white creamy head that has the great, dense retention and dense abundant lace one would expect from a nitro pour. The taste is a mellow, balanced medium bittersweet. The creamy texture has a smooth fuzz to it and itís medium body it a blend of sweet citrus, toffee, and bread crust that finishes a bit roasty with a spice zip that truns to bittersweet citrus rind and an aftertaste thatís slightly burnt coffee and french baguette.
