2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
(35 cl bottle from Toft Vin; No visible BBD) Pours a semi-clear amber with big, creamy, white head and some relatively big bubles. Good retention and beautiful lace. Aroma is almost non-existent, which leads me to believe that this has been on the shelf for quite a while at the retailer. Maybe subtle hints of citrus and a hint of toffee in the nose but itís really hard to tell. Oily texture, full bodied with a lingering, bitter finish. Flavour is rather hop bite bitter and gives added emphasis to piney hops.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
355ml Bottle from the Brewdog Online Shop (£2.80):
Hoppy initially with a malty & caramel base, some sweetness & a little pine. Some alcohol comes through & itís a good smelling beer with some grapefruit & orange too.
Caramel amber & clear with a 3cm head thatís a thick & creamy. It halves in size & leaves some good lacing on the glass too.
Strong hop presence that the nose featured & the malts as well. Grapefruit, some orange & citrus flavours come through & are followed up by some resinous pine too; the taste is definitely a good one with faint touches of caramel towards the end too.
Smooth, medium body that is really bitter. Thereís spice & faint hints of alcohol with some sweetness from the fruits and further bitterness closing things.
A very hoppy & bitter American IPA with plenty of fruits & hops coming through from the start, almost overpowering you at times but the taste is still a good one. Definitely one worth picking up but there are better out there as well.

Bottle pour. Clear copper color with good head but fades quickly. Malty aroma but nothing overly special. Medium to full body. Roasted malt taste with long bitter aftertaste.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
A dry beer malty at first with what
I can only describe as a weird pukey taste... Not a great beer with a long, dry bitter finish.

UPDATED: MAY 31, 2014 Spell correction but same rating : In "Akkurat" in Stockholm. A good IPA. Nice aroma, taste and everything an IPA needs. However nothing particular to stick out from the rest of regular IPA s.... So mixed feelings on this one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap at Brewdog, Sheffield. Clear, copper colour. Film of white head. Toffee. Spice. Light herb. Taste is spicy dry. Sweetness follows. Palate feels a little thin. Tasty, though.
