Love this beer full favored with great after taste all while having a rich color that keeps you coming back for more. The high percentage makes it a devil of an IPA.

On tap @ Rattle N’ Hum. Oh, yeah, the nitro bubbles just rushes down the sides of the glass in this one. It looks a bit cloudy in the, not to but it’s definitely not crystal clear. It also has that typical nitro creamy top. Looks really good, and it smells even better! Fantastic fresh hoppy and extremely fruity! Lots of tropical fruits like passion fruit, pomegranate, pineapple, citrus, marmalade and lots of those piney hops. Really nice! Oh my the nitro is such a good thing in a good IPA! Gives this creamy delicious full-bodied mouthfeel and just a really good impression of the beer. It also compliments the flavors of the beer that happens to be really fresh hoppy and fruity. Red berries and more tropical goodness. Having a hard time getting over that lovely mouthfeel. Creamy flavors also. So melted together and I would not complain if I had to drink this only for a whole evening. A great IPA! 21.06.2013

FROM NOTES: July 3, ’12
Served on cask at The Brewhouse Grille.
A: Smells of plenty of caramel sweetness, some light hop bitterness and some dulled citric fruit.
A: Pours clear copper orange with a thin film of white head leaving very little lace down the glass.
T: Starts off with a bit of hop bitterness quickly giving way to plenty of sweet caramel malt and a bit of dulled citric fruit. Finish is pretty sweet with a bit of bitterness, not lingering for very long.
P: Smooth body with a light hoppy feel and moderately low carbonation. It looked dead when it was poured.
O: I have always enjoyed Hop Devil and beer from a beer engine is usually much better, but this one might have been better from a regular tap.

12 fl oz. bottle. Pours a clear caramel with a tan head. Aroma is well, hoppy. Tropical fruit, mineral notes, and more tropical fruit. As for taste lots of fruity notes up front (tropical fruit, peach, apricot) followed by mineral notes, light straw, and light caramel. Good stuff.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
UPDATED: NOV 2, 2013 Dark orange / amber body with about a finger and a half of foamy white head that dissipates rather quickly. Aroma is a little weak on this one, notes of pine, resin and less of citrus, but a touch of fruity sweetness. Taste is moderate bitterness upfront with flavors of orange juice and some resin, slight sweetness. Despite the color, a lighter body. Drinks super easy. I could definitely do a session with this. Nice.

Poured from a bottle. Very spicy IPA with great lacing and carbonation, but not much flavor besides the spice.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle pours golden copper. Nose dank hop, earthy malt and slight alcohol. Taste similar to nose, mid palate balance of hop and malt. Bitter finish. Not very aromatic. missing most of the aromatic and flavoring hop I would expect for this to be a great beer.
