Hoppu aroma, lots of pine and grass. Deep copper coloured body. Nice malty taste. It lacks some of the bitterness common to IPAs though. Soft but a bit tingy mouthfeel, not a lot of carbonation. Decent IPA.

3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
BBD 3/20/14. Amber pour with a slight ruby cast. Nice head that dissipates with normal lacing. Very nice nose of grapefruit and pine hops. Light medium body and a smooth mouthfeel. Carbonation is below normal. Taste is like the nose, mostly hops with grapefruit in the forefront. Finishes smoothly with a pleasant grapefruit bitterness that lingers.

4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours copper with a solid two fingered head leaving a nice heavy lace. Aroma is grapefruit and pine. Taste is a little bit floral and peppery spice that quickly rolls over to an aggressive bitterness that seems to coat the tongue and then hangs on. Feels thick and creamy on the palate, almost sticky. Overall a unique and forward IPA. More than I was expecting and a very nice surprise. Victory knows how to put hops in a glass.

3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours hazy amber/orange with a two finger off white head. Aroma of dank piney hops. The taste is all pine with some citrus on the back end. The palate is a little sticky and full, resinous. This is strong well-made ipa. Delicious and full of hops.

Such a great aroma and a wonderful earthy, dank taste to back it up. Always better than I remember.

4.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
Pours golden red with a creamy three-finger head. Aromas of malt and floral hops with plenty of pine and sweet grapefruit. Flavors are dried fruit, butterscotch and grapefruit with bready notes on the back end. Finishes with a big, bitter citrus hop bite. Medium mouthfeel. Creamy, but peppery on the tongue. This is a rich, malty IPA, but they didn’t hold back on the hops at all. A big beer, but still refreshing. This beer gets better with each sip.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Had in bottles and on nitro tap. Two completely different beers btw. I’ll jus review the bottle, as the creamy version just didn’t taste right and it may have been my brewpub’s fault. Super spicy; seriously adds to the bitterness. It has a very unique, biting flavor that grabs the tongue, but it lingers so much that it’s hard to have more than one or two at a time. Blows out my taste buds, but definitely worth trying; TONS of flavor here. Maybe even too much, at least for me!

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Clear orange-red with a medium, though quickly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma of caramel malt, floral hops, grapefruit, orange. Taste is light sweet with a big bitter finish. Oily texture, low carbonation. Really nice.

Bottle. Dark amber pour with a big head. Very malty. Sweet, fruity, caramel, rust and grass. Cirtus, floral with medium to full body. Interesting but probably not something I will look out of at a store.
